Rodger and Saundra Wikelund, along with all residents of their ministry, Emma’s Kids, welcomed a ministry group from citylife church in Tampa this month.
Twenty-eight adults and kids from citylife made the trip to Zambia. They brought medical professionals who provided quality health services to members of the community. The team conducted VBS with the kids from Emma’s Kids, played soccer, and developed friendships with them. They also conducted a crusade in the village of Kawama.
Saundra said, “We were so blessed to have them for a short time, but time was no factor in the blessings they brought to all of us.”
Citylife is a thriving Church of God congregation, led by Pastors Tony and Kaci Stewart.
Emma’s Kids ministers to hundreds of children in Zambia, a country where over 12 percent have been orphaned from AIDS. They provide residential care, food, and education for the kids in the community.
