General Assembly Celebrations

General Assembly Celebrations

World Missions kicked off a busy General Assembly week of events on Monday with the pre-assembly conference and the awards celebration banquet.

The pre-assembly conference, themed Mission Possible, featured inspiring messages from missionaries Ronnie Hepperly (Southeast Asia), Terry and Beth Trussell (Uruguay), and Timothy Gbo (Togo); along with powerful testimonies on prioritizing missions from pastors Barry Clardy (Princeton Pike, Ohio), Rodney Vickers (Azalea Gardens, Virginia), Jerry Madden (Praise Cathedral, South Carolina), and Doug Anderson (Rose Heights, Texas).

Missionaries from all over the world enjoyed this time of fellowship and encouragement. Additionally, COGWM honored those who have reached the milestone of 25 years of service, and those who are retiring at the end of this General Assembly period.

The awards banquet was a fantastic time of celebration for all God has done through World Missions in the previous two years. Top fundraising churches and states were honored.

Loran Livingston preached a stirring message encouraging those in missions to continue their work for God.

Various event continue throughout the week, the highlight of which is the World Missions service on Thursday night at 7:00 p.m. To view the service online, visit facebook.com/cogwm.
