Luke 4:18-19 “The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he hath anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; he hath sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recover sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised, To preach the acceptable year of the Lord.”
The Spirit of God dwells in you. No longer are you bound, no longer do you have to live in fear and shame, Jesus paid the price for you to walk in Freedom. For you to have access to the Father. Through Jesus our identity and purpose has been restored. We now have the access to walk in fullness of who God has called us to be. For God has called you. He has anointed you. You were created in His image. You were created to display the Kingdom of God on this earth. You have purpose. You are His son, His daughter. His Chosen One. He Loves you and longs to move in and through you. You are Royalty. You are His.
I want to challenge you to allow God to show you who you are in Him and who He is in you. Let Him renew your thinking, your view point of yourself. No longer see yourself through your own eyes but allow God to show you how He sees you. Until you see yourself rightly, until you know who you are, you can’t see others rightly. God wants to renew your thinking, He wants you to see yourself as He sees you. He wants you to walk in fullness, in purpose, in your identity in Him. He wants to pour His love out upon you. He wants to place you into the authority and power He has given you in this earth. He has called you to be His light to all you encounter. Just as we have found the love of God, others need to know that He loves them. We must see every person as an opportunity to share the love of Jesus. With each person it will look different, but we must walk in purpose. We must share His truth and love. We can’t only read the Bible, but we must believe the Bible and act upon His word. Once we truly believe His word, then will we step out of fear and start acting upon what we are reading. The Word says where the Spirit of the Lord is there is Freedom. And the Spirit dwells in you, so you have Freedom. Walk in that Freedom. If you feel like you have bondage in your life, then invite the Spirit of the Lord into those areas and He will break the bondage and bring Freedom. Guys it’s not hard. All we must do is believe and act upon His word and He does the rest. We just have to be obedient to Him.
