   I think the Spirit is the center from which the volition is conjured, whereas the soul is mind, emotion and will. The soul reacts to the spirit. The soul manifests and is characterized by The Spirit. When The Holy Spirit enters into us it renews our mind, transforms our emotional state, and the will is then submitted to it; not my will but yours be done Lord. That’s my understanding.

   My understanding is that I am a spirit, I have a soul and I live in a body. The soul is the mental “thinking” part that is so intertwined to both the spirit and body, it is difficult to separate.

   Spirit is the one that is dead before regeneration (born-again.) Soul is who you are. The body is our vessel. Hope this helps. ☝☝

   Soul is the indestructible and immaterial body. Spirit is your mind without your brain and other influence of your physical body.

   i do hope that someday if possible that this kind of faith language will have some scientific parameters to do the measure of whatsoever possible to be meassured with,..
   without that we can only speak this nuance of language as “methafor”,…right?..

   a “very thin” (and in dynamik) dividing areas and changeable as the human language over time changes….?
