This may sound like an absurd question: Would you think that Satan had no clue at all when crucifying Christ was the end of His power over mankind? God’s ultimate expression of power through weakness.

    Yes, the Bible says that if they had known, they would not have crucified the Lord of Glory. 😀

    Of course he knew…that is why he threw his worst at Him…to try to stop Jesus from completing His mission

    Unfortunately he knows the Bible better than most Christians. He quoted it to Jesus in the wilderness, even though he took it out of context changing it’s meaning. I do wonder if he’s got a big enough ego to think he can change is future described in Revelation. (To think he could overthrow his Creator demonstrates he suffers from delusions of grandeur.

    How did Satan lose power over mankind? Any time someone does something bad it gets blamed on Satan.

    Mike Davis, the entire Bible is written for and about Christ and His salvation. I cannot speak for whomever christian you’ve known or met but I personally don’t blame Satan for the sins I’ve done. I don’t see true repentance in that.
