Why do people believe salvation only belongs to Israel?

Both are trying to close the door of salvation to ALL.

Remember law was meant to save people in the flesh which could not. Israelites were given laws not to save them but to challenge them since they refused free salvation by faith at the mountain and God challenged them through law.
John 1:17
[17]For the law was given by Moses, but grace and truth came by Jesus Christ.Jesus was able to obey the whole law on earth and sought to save Jews but still refused. Now the intention of God was to save the whole human race, the children of Adam and Israel was chosen as a dwelling place of God on earth but not to save them alone.

John 10:16

2 Corinthians 5:16-17
[16]Wherefore henceforth know we no man after the flesh: yea, though we have known Christ after the flesh, yet now henceforth know we him no more.
[17]Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.Jesus under the law and in the flesh was for Jews only. The resurrected Jesus for the whole humanity Including Jews who rejected him if they believe.

Because they don’t realize that Jesus sent the apostle Paul to be the apostle to the gentiles.

Salvation is of and belongs to Israel. Once you have had the priviledge and honor of being called Israel through the faith that is in Christ Jesus. Abraham is a father of many nations and types of ethnic backgrounds and languages by the faith in Christ Jesus.

Salvation is free for all, who believe in Jesus. Salvation is not private property of Israel and property of Almighty God is given to us. Because we believe in who & whom send.
