That Jesus is actually the archangel Michael. That the WatchTower Tract and Bible Association is the only entity that can interpret the Bible for them.

I’m going to get a lot of Flak for saying this. But I have found that if you really want to know what other religious groups believe in, you need to ask people of that particular group.

They are not Christian. It’s a New Age religion started by a New Ager who was very high up in Masonry. The leadership is very secretive. There is no transparency in anything they do.

I grew up a Jehovah’s Witness, left when I was 17 to become a born again Christian, and lost everything and everyone I knew growing up. All 1 million percent worth it of course, there are no words for how amazing God’s grace and goodness is ♥️ Unlearning a lot of their brainwashing was and is STILL a struggle for me. I also pray everyday for my family who are still in it, and I ask you guys to do the same.
If you have any specific questions instead of generalizations like people are giving above, feel free to ask me! ? I believe that unless you’ve actually been one, you really can’t know what it’s like or what they believe to an extent. Being in a cult like religion such as this one means it’s very closed off and they keep a lot of beliefs hush hush from the public so as to not look bad to the rest of society. I could write a book on this!

They are witnesses for jehovah. I admire their zeal but they have several theological problems. The worst being a rejection of the gospel of grace and the divinity of christ. Sorry that’s two.

They believe that the watch tower tract society is the faithful descreet slave. The great crowd would inherit the earth. They believe that God created the earth to be a paradise just like Eden. And 144,000 will reign as kings and priests in heaven over the earth. The dead are conscious of nothing ie a sleep. Untill Jehovahs’ day come. They believe we are in the last days. That christ returned in 1914… Plus Satan was cast down from heaven which triggered the last days in 1914. They don’t believe in the Trinity. And they clock all their hours of the ministry and send it off to the WTS every month because they believe in works. They shun unbelievers that decide to leave their faith. They reject Christ every year at their memorial service by passing the bread and wine. They don’t believe in grace….. Or higher education, the WTS brain washers their members not to look at their own history on the Internet.Their beliefs tend to change at least twice every 10 years as “new light” so what I’ve typed might change soon. Glad I’m out of it.

And they reject an eternal hell. Unfortunately the holy spirit they believe is just an entity like wind and they reject the Tri- nature of God. -
I had two friends when I was at school who were JW. They don’t believe they’re going to heaven when they die. Heaven is already full with the 144,000 limit. When they die, they are simply dead, and at the second coming their bodies will then be resurrected. They don’t believe in cremation for this reason.

The first few founders said they knew the date Jesus was coming back. They do not believe Jesus and the Holy Spirit and God are the same. They believe Jesus and the Spirit are demi-Gods and this makes them commit the unforgivable sin of blasphemy of the Spirit, therefore damning them to hell. They have the ONLY version of the Bible that in John 1 1-4 says that ” the Word was A God” even though the rest of their own Bible states there is only ONE God. They have no explanation for Isiah 9:6 and my great grandma has shoes older than this religion !

Apart from simply being a recycled doomsday cult from the Millerites of the late 1800’s, they are also a renaisance of Arianism. They deny that Yahshua is YHWH, the One true God. Rather, they say that He is a created being.
Also, their gospel is distorted and false, proclaiming that we are saved by works.

The do not believe in the Holy Spirit. I like telling then the first name in the Bible is Elohim not Jehovah. They hate that. They tell me Elohim is a title. I tell them its a name the fist name of God in the Bible. I tell them there are over 200 names for God in scripture. They usually run away by then. I was just tryin to have a little fellowship????

I have plenty of experience with them. My biggest gripe is their refusal of blood transfusions.

They also believe that only 144000 people will get to go to Heaven prime and the rest get a secondary you know like a consolation prize. they believe in predestination. They are NOT Christian. To their credit though they will deny being Christian. I have a whole gaggle of them in my apt complex
