**1 Jn 5:7 For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one.**

I would like to discuss the Comma Johanneum. My position is that it is valid. I base this upon it being quoted by Cyprian, Bishop of Carthage in AD 240. Since this quote predates both the Vaticanus and the Sinaiticus, I think it is a strong argument. What say Ye? ( if this has been discussed elsewhere here then please lead me to it)

When you say Valid, do you mean That text was in the autograph of 1 John or that it’s a true staying going back to Jesus/apostles?
