Should we rather all the more give glory to God that Christ is proclaimed none the less?
Being as though this has to happen:
Matthew 24:14
This gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in the whole world as a testimony to all the nations, and then the end will come.

Shouldn’t we be preaching more ourselves?
Are not even some of the “false teachers” still preaching the gospel of the kingdom in some sense of the term, being as though the end is nigh?
Just looking for some feedback on this. Just curious what your thoughts are?
They aren’t advocating for false teachers, they were trying to stop people from putting the preacher above God. I love preachers like Matt Chandler, Jeff Durbin, John MacArthur and more but God’s word is the filter through which I view them. If they suddenly started teaching things that were blatantly against obvious principles of scripture then I would not defend them blindly but encourage them to come back to truth.
False teachers often do not WANT truth. They arent preaching the Gospel of Christ they are preaching one of their own creation. They are their own god, demanding burnt sacrifices to their pride and greed.
Please just ask a simple question next time and leave the commentary out. We don’t have the time to read a book before we get you yr ? . Thx
Teaching Christ is never wrong. Its when we change the message to Christ and blank that even Paul got angry. We can dismiss teaching on the sovereignty of God because it’s a mystery but teaching on Christ is pretty close handed. Paul and the disciples are addressing different teachers not different messages.
We are warned about false teachers. Not everyone is called to teach. Personally Paul is my favourite writer of the New Testament he has a deep understanding of the word but a lot of people misunderstand Paul’s writings.
False teaching comes from misinterpreting scripture and if you misinterpret a scripture it does not stop at that scripture. We are to divide the word rightly or not divided at all.
It sickens me how disrespectful self professing Christian’s are to preachers who believe in the gospel. Differences in docrine cause hate in peoples heart.
False teachers preached for a profits they used the scriptures out of there selfish motives..
Paul Also says, even though an Angel preaches a different gospel other than the one taught to you, which is no gospel at all, let him be accursed.

I think Paul was able to rejoice because the Gospel he preached was indeed spreading throughout the known world which would have been a living confirmation of the new covenant. He did prophesy that wolves would enter in and divide the flock after he was gone. Sectarian Xtianity in our day is his prophecy fulfilled. Though strife and contention is thick and distressing I still am able to rejoice within myself seeing that Paul foresaw our day and I see that he did. In this the Word of God is confirmed in my spirit… that our God “is” God who makes known the beginning from the end. Selah!
This is an area that takes a lot of discernment I think, and you make some very good points. Yes, there are preachers out there with less-than-stellar motives who we shouldn’t silence.
To me the most important thing is which Kingdom are they are actually preaching?
If they are actually preaching Christ Kingdom, but with less-than-stellar motives, fine.
But that’s far better than preaching another kingdom, even with pure motives.
The kingdom a person belongs to will determine their eternity, so it’s CRUCIAL to get that part right.
