When we discuss a topic, we always inclined to concretized our disputation by way of citing books or other references. How can we know that our viewpoint is authentic ? What would be the criterion or precept in choosing the most authoritative books or references ?

The Bible is the standard, so we take His Word to everything else and see if it reflects God’s Word or not, or if it agrees with His Word or not.

The bible is the only book that we should look into. If the book we are reading is alligned to the bible then its considerable. If its not, it should be disregarded.
And the bible should be the basis not some traditional books and other doctrines. You cant win an arguement with God’s word using your doctrine. No one can win against God.

That is normative. The Bible is the supreme and primordial source of our beliief . But how about secondary sources or background study books that can be reliable and authoritative. For example, when I want to study the false grace or hyper- grace theology, what can you recommend ?
