The “if then why” you proposed doesn’t follow. God is not defined by your reading of Genesis or anyone else’s. Also, the question already presupposes that evolution contradicts a seven day creation. Therefore, it’s not a good way to ask a question. Here is my question for you: why does evolution contradict a seven day creation and why would this render God’s existence less probable? If you answer those two questions, and after someone actually agrees with you on it, then your question would be valid. ???

Why are people always trying to pit science against the Bible they have the same author God created science and the Bible it’s not meant for us to understand everything in the universe and how it works but it is meant for us to trust God that is called faith and the original word for day they use in Genesis is yon which means an unspecified time. It does not mean a 24-hour day like we think of they didn’t have the vocabulary in ancient Hebrew and Greek that we have in English

Evolution is a lie. So much so that now scientists are discussing another theory to discount God called Panspermia. It’s basically the idea that we came from aliens. It’s so ridiculous, the length people go to in order to cut out Jesus. Charles Darwin’s theory didn’t even start until the 1800s. Before that everyone believed in some form of a god. It was just a matter of which one. Anyone who wants clarity on the fallacy of Evolution should look up the Answers in Genesis youtube channel with Ken Ham. Or try Kent Hovind, he has several debates online. He used to be a science teacher. He has a video called, “Why Evolution is Stupid.” Or try looking up Dr. Steven Myer’s books and videos. He did an interview with John Ankerberg on youtube that was really really good. .. Also for the people who are trying to assert millions of years into the bible. That’s not true either. It was literal 24 hour days, as made evident by the words: ” there was evening and there was morning the first day. There was evening and there was morning the second day…. so forth and so on. The words “a thousand years are like a day and a day is like a thousand years” are taken out of context in order to support the millions of years theory. You cant take a random verse out of its context like that. It doesn’t work. The “day is like a thousand years” bible verse is simply showing us that God’s perception of time in heaven is different than our own. It’s an expression used to convey that to us. God set up a certain concept of time here on earh for his purposes. Technically, anyone could randomly pick out scriptures to support any silly idea. You have to look at the context surrounding the passage for the real meaning. Here’s an example: An atheist could say that the bible says there is no God. However the verse actually says this: “A fool says in his heart there is no God.” …..Oh also, one last thing, there is a woman scientist whose name I cant remember. She found a t rex bone that contained soft tissue. That’s impossible if evolution is true. Soft tissue cant survive for millions of years. Gotta go back to the drawing board people. Evolution is out.

I’ll address evolution first Then I’ll address the Genesis thing I’m actually writing a book on this so I’ve got quite a bit of research into it.
There’s five pillars of evolution One of them is man-made and it’s just a mathematical algorithm and anytime you have a mathematical algorithm you’re going to have a predictive pattern come out of it that doesn’t mean anything two of the pillars are the same thing and that just says that one thing looks like it came from another thing but you could do it exactly the same thing with automobiles or any successive design that mankind has ever made computers and if you follow it it does look like one came from the other thing. But we know cars didn’t breed themselves and they didn’t mutate into a different car and there’s no missing links in the car and there’s a lot of missing links in the evolutionary change to fill in with what they believe existed or exist and there’s a lot of other problems with it as well. Transitional fossils by themselves whether they jumped from one species through a different species into the final species or any other explanation that the existence of transitional fossils is a major problem because they should not exist but they do. Finally the biggest problem is to rely on mutation for genetic information being added but mutation doesn’t add genetic information in either duplicates it or destroys it 49.9% of mutations destroyed the organism in some way only 1% are positive and help the organism If you apply this control to any population you destroy the population The only exception is when you start with a massive population and you have a situation like ants where only the very best gets to reproduce in that way the control can work but you have to already have millions of these things in order to make that system work.
Now I’ll adress Genesis.
The garden of Eden existed and we can prove it.
The worldwide flood happened and in the next 10 to 15 years all geologists around the world and paleontologists are going to accept it there’s some massive work being done by several different teams to show this.
We know the exit is happened David roll I need your tologist has proven it and he’s shown why all these archaeologists were looking at the wrong times for this because they went by what they believed to be true instead of what the Bible says when you look at what the Bible says and start looking at those dates it works and they can prove it and they know it besides that you can actually book travels on travelocity or any of these other sites that will take you around the Middle East from Temple to Temple to Temple to Temple where the Genesis said God told Moses to Joshua to build these buildings in remembrance of coming out of Egypt and those buildings still exist in their they’re amazing and beautiful and immaculate and you can go and visit them today so that really flies in the face of this there’s no evidence for the Exodus theory.
I mean I can go on and on and on but the fact is Genesis is recorded history it is the word of God and if you’re not going to believe the word of God because man thinks they know something when man kind of been proven wrong over and over and over and over again In fact the nature of science says this is what we think right now but we’re looking at it because there’s going to be more information that changes our way of thinking and this is what you’re going to accept over the word of God there’s a problem there A very very big problem.
Christians who think evolution is true First of all don’t understand evolution and second of all don’t understand who God is He’s bigger than that The main kind is wrong continually and often and we prove ourselves wrong all the time So quit buying what man is selling and start buying what God has taught us. -

Simple. Evolution is wrong and infact scientifically unsound. The ability of animals to adapt to their environment is not proof that all live developed from an unknown single celled organism. Every attempt to proof this theory has proven false. Birds are not fish. Men are not related to monkeys.

Here is a theory. Evoultion, though it consists of inaccuracies as we understand it, could very well be a part of Gods plan. Genisis does not need to be taken literally, as there are many examples with in the Bible of poetic and creative writing.
Think about it, before God created all, there was no time. So he creates time for his creation to base off of. So for God to explain how he created all, he had to put it in terms man would understand. Day 1 was not 24 hours, it could have been a week, 50 years or a millennia. To God all these times are the same.
If you believe God is God, then you need to trust that all he has done, did and will do is for a purpose. COVID-19 is a prime example. Evolution, cellular mutations, etc. Nothing exsists without him and therfore all is because of Him.

About Evidence
Don LudlowBecause BOTH Atheism and Christian faith claim to be evidence based it is worthwhile taking a closer look at what is and is not evidence, and why evidence is the INDEPENDENT witness of reality.
This is not exhaustive and other aspects will no doubt be raised in any ensuing discussion. However these ARE some key points that many misunderstand about the nature of evidence. Evidence in its simplest definition is what one would EXPECT to exist OR not exist, or be observed or not observed if something were true.
The first thing to note in the above authorised meaning of the word “Evidence” is that evidence is FACTUAL and not theoretical. THEORIES and interpretations are not evidence of anything, only facts of reality constitute evidence. Objects, verified written documents, Firsthand eyewitness observations of reality, etc.
If you want to discuss or produce evidence you will need to address matters of detailed factual reality not hypothetical or theoretical scenarios or vague generalised claims.
In the same way it is the facts that are the evidence. Alternative explanations of the facts do not dismiss them as evidence that supports the original explanation. However if there is a VALID alternative explanation of the facts then they do not represent proof of an explanation, merely facts that would still be true in either circumstance. More important is the evidence that does NOT support a particular explanation.
For instance the evidence that Evolutionists claims supports Evolution Theory ALSO supports Intelligent Design Theory. HOWEVER there is existent evidence that supports ID Theory that does NOT support Evolution Theory.
One point we are all familiar with is that absence of evidence is, of itself, not evidence of absence, it is merely the non-existence of evidence.
HOWEVER there is one exception to this and that is when certain evidence MUST exist if something is true and certain evidence MUST NOT exist if something is true. For example if the atheist concept of reality were true fulfilled Biblical prophesy MUST not be able to exist – but it does. The reality and evidence of fulfilled Biblical prophecy can ONLY exist if God exists and reality is as the Bible reveals it to be.

Evolution is only a theory—no man has seen it nor observed it. This simply means that people who believes in that theory has more faith than Christians.
I believe in Intelligent design. Look how complex our human body, cells etc.
But I don’t have to know everything to believe that there is a Divine Creator. All the temporaral things we have now are non-essential. The world is passing and none of these will matter when Jesus Christ returns.

There are certain things which cannot evolve, such as human consciousness and the flagellum on certain cellular organisms. It is also important to remember there has never been non-life, abiotic dead material, be observed to become biotic, living material. Therefore, macroevolution, the idea life came from non life randomly and species evolve from other species is false. Microevolution, changes within species which do not change the creature into another creature, is true. So to answer your question, microevolution does not, macroevolution does, but macroevolution is false because it is scientifically and philosophically impossible. Read the Creation account it describes what a day is and in Exodus why Saturday was Sabbath was explained that God created everything in 6 days and rested and hallowed the 7th.

Just because something contradicts the bible does NOT negate God’s existance. There are a LOT of things that contradict the bible that do NOT negate God’s existence. You’d have to show that those same things PROVEN actually PROVE God doesn’t exist.

It is a misinterpretation of the data based on a humanistic world view that seeks to rationalize away any evidence that points to creation with an alternative explanation the aligns with the evolutionary world view.
