Is it right to say to be flexible or silent regarding our religion, by quoting Matthew 10:16. Many christian people or even pastors dont speak out about christianity because it may become religio political issue. Anyone help me out what to do in such situation.

I sincerely believe this is dictated by the situation you’re in and governed by the HS. JMHO.

Preach to every creature regardless of public and societal opinion. God is not a respecter of persons. If they are saved, they will be judged righteously. So preach to everyone without exception!

“But in your hearts revere Christ as Lord. Always be prepared to give an answer to everyone who asks you to give the reason for the hope that you have. But do this with gentleness and respect.” – 1 Peter 3:15

Politics are for politicians. Jesus didnt head out to Pilate and attack the Romans. He preached and face what comes in front of Him.
Im glad that here in my country we have an open christian politician who objects at whatever thrown in congress that doesnt go with what the bible says.

Anybody can pick a verse out of context. Near every time it happens though there are scores of verses that disagree with what they are interpreting from one verse and not looking to the whole of Scripture.
