Keep crossing post about the skin color of Jesus. Listen, does it matter? If he was blue, green,purple, yellow, brown, white, black. It doesn’t matter, he doesn’t discriminate. John 3:16 says so.

Decendant of Shem, the Shemites look like your middle eastern people and Asians. Japheth’s descendants were the Caucasian people, Hams descendants were the darker skinned African, Ethiopian people.

Jesus by flesh was just a vessel to save mankind and it doesnt matter what color of skin he has or how handsome or not he is. Whats important is he died for our sins and rose from death. Thats the gospel not Jesus is black or short haired.

Jesus was a Jew from the Middle East so he most likely had dark hair, dark eyes and darker skin. In the end it doesn’t really matter though.

God said you shall not have a graven image of me. This rings true because so many fall for this and debate over color rather than the teaching.

Okay seems like we have to have this discussion….. the reason the color of Jesus has been bought up is because the image that was given that’s was used as a mechanism to oppress, enslaved and abused black colored people. The color has also played a role in the systematic racism found in America and their poor portrayal of the Gospel it self. And, it has built a color blind doctrine and has also been another tool used to demonize social justice.

This is because of the roman Catholics they worship images of Jesus in deferent colors .they have Nazarene which is white, there is also black Nazarene + Deferent colors faces, shape and sizes of santo niño

No one cares for Jesus to be white. The only people who care about his skin color are those who care for him NOT to be white.
Give it a rest already. His skin color doesn’t matter. And people who do think it matters need to focus on his words rather than his skin color. There’s no legit reason for his skin color to have any effect.

It matters because people like to discriminate against middle eastern peoples while hypocritically worshipping someone of middle eastern descent (pretending he is white and blue eyed)
It’s also insulting to make Jesus out to be white and blue eyed when he had to be darker skinned as a middle easterner. Why the need to white wash him?

Jesus was born with DNA from the Hebrew race, His lineage is through the line of David from the Tribe of Judah.
The root word describing David is admoniy, ad-mo-nee´; or (fully) admowniy, ad-mo-nee´; reddish (of the hair or the complexion): red, ruddy. The definition of the word “red” described here is “admoniy” reddish of the hair or complexion.
Song of Solomon 5:10 states that His complexion is fair and ruddy, the same word used as how David’s is described in God’s Word. No need to discriminate at all. -
Right is makes no difference what color skin He had, this is one of those non issues in the Bible

It really doesn’t matter. Doesn’t the Bible say there was nothing special about Jesus appearance? He probably would have looked like any average Middle Eastern Jewish man of the time.

Jesus is not spirit, He rose in a physical body, but you are right it doesn’t matter to how we should live our lives. It’s good to know if you’re a history nerd and like movies to be accurate, but more power to you brother

Jesus was not a spirit, He was God in the flesh and there are numerous places in the bible to confirm this.
