This is bizarre. We don’t insist on something being the case or even possibly being the case as a rule. We need reasons to believe it is the case. That goes doubly, triply, and so on for an entity that cannot be disproved. Yeah, it could exist. But so what? Modal realism could be the case, too. But at least MR allows people an “incredulous stare”.
