With DNA, I’ve heard of the discovery of the mitochondrial Eve being a single female source for the human race and same with the Y-chromosomal Adam. All the sources I’ve seen are from a couple years ago but I haven’t seen any new evidence. Is this something worth bringing up or is there not enough evidence for it?

What is the purpose; God created Adam and Eve. Noah and his descendants were still from Adam and Eve; the flood did not change that
