If you believe that your consciousness is a result of a evolutionary process that produces chemical reactions in your brain. How do you know that your brain is giving you the correct perception of reality?

We can’t even find empirical macro evolution, which is a fancy way of saying species have no missing link parentage. None. Fossils are created by instant burials, but you’re going to tell me that each layer represents millions of years OR that the >>>nonexistent<<< layers between them represent millions of years; in either case the story is self-contradictory and there is no hard evidence. Just a man behind a curtain with a radiation equation based on assumptions about the state of matter in an environment wildly and astronomically inaccessible to us in any way? Unless you have a time machine....

Setting aside the fact that the idea of macro evolution is not actually fact at all, even if it was, I’d be more interested in knowing why purposeless matter would ever give rise to -and mass produce- consciousness that ultimately begins to look for purpose in a universe that had no purpose to begin with?
Even philosophically, before you can begin to look at any evidences, the whole thing falls apart -
Show us ONE fossil of a transitional species (from one to another) that hasn’t been proven a hoax. JUST ONE. You can’t, because they don’t exist! Charles Darwin himself, said that his theory holds no substance until those fossils are found someday in the future. To this day, not a single specimen of a transitional species has been found. True science is observable and repeatable. “Millions of years ago” is a fairy tale, because there’s no actual observable science to validate it. Funny how diamonds are supposedly millions of years old (according to people like you), yet carbon-14 with a half-life of less than 6000 years, is found trapped inside diamonds. I’m sure you’re not aware that it wouldn’t be detectable if diamonds were even 10,000 years old. According to “millions of years” this is a literal impossibility. So, please explain how this actual scientific FACT is possible from your worldview… We’ll wait.

Why does a modern whale have 5 digits on its almost invisible rear legs? (Just like bats and humans!) Legs only observable by dissection!
Why does it breathe air and swim in the deepest parts of the Ocean?
Why does it share a tiny earbone ONLY with one other creature that lived 50 million years ago?
Was God really so lacking in creativity?

There are no “facts” about evolution to run away from. It remains an increasingly bankrupt atheistic philosophy which contradicts the most fundamental laws and principles of science – a “fairytale for grownups” as one evolutionist candidly called it – yet desperately clung to by those who stubbornly refuse to believe the truth – “In the beginning God……”

Please define evolution. It can mean many things. If you mean change with respect to time then yes, that is a fact. If you mean a pre-biotic soup to animals to humans then that is mere conjecture. No evidence whatsoever for that kind.

Evolution is not a fact – there is zero evidence for it. Every bit of “evidence” for evolution has alternative and more plausible explanations. Just because something *might* support evolution doesn’t mean that it only supports evolution. There a common theological fallacy by the evolutionists.

This is an extremely intellectual light weight question, I debated for four years solid, as an apologist I realized that winning a debate is nothing in comparison to winning a soul, that’s why I don’t debate people under these circumstances anymore, the mind is already made up and it’s pointless, no matter what you say and what you prove.

Has anyone provided proof of God’s inexistence? Not even close. Has quantum cosmology explained the emergence of the universe or why it is here? Not even close. Have our sciences explained why our universe seems to be fine-tuned to allow for the existence of life? Not even close. Are physicists and biologists willing to believe in anything so long as it is not religious thought? Close enough. Has rationalism and moral thought provided us with an understanding of what is good, what is right, and what is moral? Not close enough. Has secularism in the terrible 20th century been a force for good? Not even close, to being close. Is there a narrow and oppressive orthodoxy in the sciences? Close enough. Does anything in the sciences or their philosophy justify the claim that religious belief is irrational? Not even in the ball park. Is scientific atheism a frivolous exercise in intellectual contempt? Dead on.

Macro or micro. Evolution exists within a kind. A finch may evolve a different beak, depending on it’s habitat. A human has different skin color because of where it lives. That being said, there is no evidence of changes making one species into another. Again which evolution are you talking about? One exists, one is fallacy.

Evolution: that is so last century. Scientist now call it ID. Intelligent Design. Evolution, while obvious happens within a specific bandwidth, is no longer recognized as the engine for life. The formation of life is much more complicated. Random evolutionary change is not the operating system. There is what is referred to as Intelligent Design. You tube Stephan Meyers on his book “Darwin’s Doubts”
