This is meant with no disrespect, I don’t believe every atheist is this way; but the majority of what I see from internet atheists is described perfectly in this meme…
This is how i envision the ones which go out of their way to slander, mock, heckle and belittle people only because they have a different worldview than them.As a child, tolerance is taught as a virtue above all others in America. Christians are strictly held to this standard by society, but atheists are allowed to be bigots which personally attack Muslims, Hindus, Christians, and practically all theists.
It’s a strange paradox, people’s disbelief in God can make them such hateful, bitter individuals, it’s rather foolish and hard to understand, but as usual; it’s simply explained in the Bible.
Romans 1:21-22
“Because that, when they knew God, they glorified him not as God, neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened. Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools.” 2 Peter 3-5
Knowing this first, that there shall come in the last days scoffers, walking after their own lusts, And saying, Where is the promise of his coming? for since the fathers fell asleep, all things continue as they were from the beginning of the creation. For this they willingly are ignorant-“ There’s nothing intellectual about being an atheist, it doesn’t substitute having a PHD as many believe, neither does it make you superior to people which believe in a God or gods.The meme is how you look, and unfortunately but understandably how the people outside of your social group see you that aren’t intimidated by your mockery.
