Aren’t some of us just as biased and close-minded about the realm of the spirit as were the ancients concerning science?

The natural mind can not receive things of God scripure says. It also says we by nature at enmity with God. That is true of humanity since the fall. Human nature remains the same . That is part of what Scripture shows us in it’s historical accounts

Explanation – Centuries ago society resisted science. They persecuted scientists whose findings went against their beliefs. The tables have turned. Now we look at things from a materialistic view, nullifying the sixth sense. So many of us are like the people from centuries ago. We just reject things pertaining to spirituality rather than things of science.
