Yes … They are now belng called aliens

  6. Gareth Heaney says:

Dont think so anymore was no mention of them after genesis 6. Seems like the author referred to them in the past tense. And I dont think they are due to return. More interesting conversation on who or what they may have been. Giants of old. Would have been frightening to live back then lol

  7. Charles Lee Knuckles says:

Yes, and demons occupying people and animals

Great question! To my knowledge when I did a little research on this years ago! They existed and ruled over states (areas) on the earth in Old Testament! Humans worshipped them e.g Egyptian Gods, Greek Gods etc! They were seen as an abomination by the Father because they were half human and half angels as it says in Genesis and was ONE of the reasons why God flooded the earth! Killing everything including them but their spirits still remained to Rome on the earth and referred to as demons! I will actually go a little more into it now! Was such a great topic to research! Also managed to get my hands on the Book of Enoch if I remember correctly and had loads of details in there to! Hmmmmm exciting question guys! ❤️✝️ love it! Great group. I pray Jesus leads you all correctly in his word concerning this topic! Love you and and stay safe in Jesus name ??

  9. Grace David says:

I think in Jude it says they are held in chains until the judgment…

  10. Adam Mondragon says:

This post is going on the assumption that they existed in the first place! That I mean an offspring of angel and man and no I don’t believe the Giants spoken of in Genesis were them but tyrants who used their ancestry to do what they wanted. I believe the sons of God were infact the desendents of Seth when men started to call upon the name of the Lord in chapter 4. Now I’m not looking to argue with anyone. I’m simply telling what my research has brought me to.

  11. Luke Renville says:

    It’s their spirits that remain

  12. Harold Goldman says:

So when you read in the newspaper today thst Frank Sinatra was a giant in the entertainment industry do any of you think it meant he was 9 feet tall? That’s not what Moses was communicating these were men of renown meaning very influential

  13. D.j. Hariford says:

If you mean, are there still giants around, then there is a good chance. There are rumors that suggest that a race of Giants still is inhabiting the Solomon Islands.

  14. Harold Goldman says:

Tall people are in the world just look in the nba

Thought you all might find MacArthurs thoughts on this, interesting……….”QUESTIONER: John, my name is Andy.

    JOHN: Hi, Andy.

QUESTIONER: I want to ask you, in Genesis 6, if the Nephilim giants didn’t survive the flood, how come that when Caleb and Joshua and the spies went to Canaan, they found the Nephilim giants there? And also, why is there so many interpretations of Genesis 6?

JOHN: Well, the fact that there are so many interpretations of Genesis 6 means that a lot of people have gotten it wrong, right? Because there is only one proper interpretation. I understand that because there are some obscurities in the passage, okay, there are some obscurities in the passage. It’s helpful to me, however, to know that most of the views that are different than the one that I hold have come later in history, that the earliest views of Genesis 6 that we can find, even among rabbis, to say nothing of early church fathers, viewed the sons of God as angels.

So by taking, as we did when I went through that, the sons of God as fallen angels, demons, who come down and possess men, who then take wives and really desire demon involvement, and have children. That’s to show the depth of the fallenness of man, he engages himself with demons willingly. I think that in the context of what Satan was doing in Genesis 6, it’s the best interpretation. It’s consistent with what he tried to do in the garden as we pointed out at the time. But it says that at that time, there were giants on the earth in those days, and it uses the word Nephilim. The term is from a Hebrew verb, to fall, and it has to do with powerful beings that crush somebody.

This is not a race of people, this is just some powerful people, some powerful men who fell on others in the sense of overpowering them. That’s what I put in the note and that’s exactly what I believe is accurate. They were already on the earth when children born of these unions of demonically possessed people came out. They were mighty men. It says, “The products of those unions were mighty men and men of renown.”

There were, in ancient times, mighty men and men of renown born to those unions, but there also were these Nephilim, these powerful, powerful conquerors. The idea is that they are threats, dangerous. It just describes them because we want to know something about the pre-flood society. There were oppressive, I suppose you could say even deadly men in that day. There were powerful, I suppose we could call them conquerors or warriors. And so that word Nephilim is describing them.

Later on, when the spies went into the land, and they came back to report what they had seen, they simply said, “There are Nephilim there.” They didn’t mean that they were the children of Nephilim, as if they were a race. Nephilim, because of its usage here, was sort of a word that they all knew was in the Scripture, and they knew that it referred to giants. And so when they came back and wanted to report that essentially the Canaanites were unconquerable, they simply said, “They’re Nephilim.”

They just took that word in its generic sense, in its general meaning, rather than having it refer to some race. They couldn’t have been children of Nephilim. Nephilim was not a race, it wasn’t a tribe, and they couldn’t have had any children that lasted until that time, as you said, because the flood drowned everybody but eight people. So it’s just a term that has to do with warriors – powerful, deadly, fearful kind of men.

And Joshua, in Joshua and Caleb’s day, the spies who didn’t believe they could conquer Canaan wanted to make their point as strongly as they could and so they said, “They’re like the giants, like the Nephilim that are mentioned in Genesis chapter 6.” Okay?

Most are drafted into the NBA

  17. Michael Thomas Fisher says:

No,,folks that believe Angels had sexual intercourse with Human women and then had offspring have erred in their discernment of the Scriptures. But, these days folks will believe just about anything. Sign of the times.

  18. Dan Riley says:

Hard pill for some to swallow, i know
But if you call yourself a son of God, you should know that we’re not alone in this world

  19. Harold Goldman says:

Folks I am speaking English right? Most can understand the language so here it goes god created male and female ( that’s the human race) god saw it was good and he rested after that. No mixed breed human/demon in the creation acct. Only God is creator No one else.

  20. Dan Riley says:

Such hostility over such a simple subject

What’s wrong with people these days

  21. Champ Claussen says:

I taught this very thing in Bible study a few weeks ago. I don’t find that it was truly spiritual beings having intercourse with humans.
When you look at the context as well as examining the text when the Nephilim are mentioned, there is no reason to believe that there was any supernatural physical intercourse.
Though there is much debate upon the subject and good theories regarding it, there is a mystery in it as well.

  22. Steve McCormick says:

    Just in the NBA.

  23. Dean McCoy says:

    No

  24. Gene Moore says:

    Genesis 6:4 —— “and after”

  25. Michael Thomas Fisher says:

There are people today that fully believe that the offspring of angels and human women are among us. Many of these people are not “wrapped” too tight. It’s only a matter of time before some one claims another person is the offspring of a demon and seeks to kill a tall person. The same thing occurred during the Salem Witch Trials in Massachusetts around 1682. Very dangerous ground… and folks don’t realize how far the Human race has declined since creation. Adam was probably a very big and well muscled man. Since sin,,, the race has continually declined in every way.

  26. Dan Riley says:

So you resort to insults because, oh yeah, the verse?

  27. Scott Thompson says:

They got washed away with the flood

  28. Keith Schuster says:

Genesis 6:4 There were giants in the earth in those days; and also after that, when the sons of God came in unto the daughters of men, and they bare children to them…
In those days and also after…

  29. Shane Johnson says:

They were not just Giants .. But giants in evil … Some were little too in my research

  30. Grant Reedy says:

One of the dumbest interpretations of scriptures people claim for absolutely no reason but pure unadulterated ignorance.

If they can’t understand the first 3 chapters of Genesis, I doubt they will get the rest of the bible.

  31. Glenn Buchanan says:

Not sure at present if there are any.,,.. but certainly in the end times referred to by Jesus it will be like the days of Noah and there certainly were plenty of Nephilim in the days of Noah so in one form or the other, Nephilim will return, personally I believe it won’t be till after the Rapture, rather during the tribulation. But that’s just me

  32. Doc Pip Thomas says:

No. If no life other than those that HaShem preserved on the Ark, how could the Nephilim survive? If this theory is true (and it is only a theory), then the purpose of the flood would have to rid the world of them and their impurity. Only Noah and his family would have been cleaned.

  33. Mark Frost says:

Nephalim all died in the flood.

  34. Ernie Cantu says:

Bigfoot is the last one, and no one can find him. He’s living the high life, filthy rich off of jerky commercial royalties.

  35. Glenn Buchanan says:

If you believe the biblical account then probably Ham’s wife had been contaminated by Nephilim DNA but it didn’t show up in Ham’s Sons themselves and only in two of the four son’s descendants Cush and Canaan

  36. Glenn Buchanan says:

Scripture described Nephilim as being as tall as Cedar Trees which grow to 90 feet …they wouldn’t even fit on a basketball Stadium let alone a basketball court

  37. Glenn Buchanan says:

    The Philistines were Nephilim

  38. Mike M Correal says:

have you ever seen Shaquille O’Neal?

  39. Simon Henry says:

I’m always fascinated by this topic. If “Noah was perfect in his generations” that can be interpreted as saying he didn’t have contaminated DNA. Though there are mentions of them after Noah as others have said.

David Icke would I think believe there’s plenty of them still around, though he is not exactly a mainstream Christian, and he seems to be getting ever more out there in his ideas (he started as an ordinary sports commentator and look where he ended up ?).

We don’t have Big Foot in Australia, though we do have the Blue Mountains Panther, apparently, though I don’t think it looks much like a Nephilim.

  40. Simon Henry says:

I guess the wives of Noah’s family were of a different family line and might not have been “perfect in their generations”.

  41. Dan Tyler says:

    I like what Simon says

  42. Franks Biblestudy says:

I did a study on this a long time ago, I started with the “Dake’s Annotated Bible” it is a very interesting reference Bible but I am very skeptical of the interpretation of scripture and commentary. Genesis 6:1-2 When men began to multiply, for some reason all this polygamy and marriage was on pause until then…hmmm. Scripture says “men” and “sons of God” and in vs 3 God limits a human life span. vs 4 “giants” appear, it is assumed that sons of God are what? Angels? or Fallen angels? This is not clear, so Christian theology assumes many stories of what the unclear says. I can’t see how anybody connects the dots????
What needs to happen is rightly divide the truth and not from the human attempt to create mythology. In vs 4, “Giants” preexisted before “sons of God” had children with “daughters of men”, what came from that sexual relationship were “mighty men” and “men of renown”. And

“God saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually”. Here we have a world-wide moral problem not a corrupt DNA problem. We still see giant DNA traces in the O.T. (Deuteronomy and Numbers) in the here and now, e.g. Timothy Bradley, Yao Ming, Robert Wadlow, Sun Mingming, etc. The million dollar question is who and what are the “sons of God” for example take the name “Barabbas” (/bəˈræbəs/; Aramaic: ישוע בר אבא‎ Yeshua Bar ʾAbbaʾ, literally “son of the father” This is how Jews wrote.
In Genesis 3:24 there is “cherubims” and “angel” appears in Genesis 16:7, first time. “Seraphim” appears in Isaiah 6:2-6 first time. To add more to this, N.T. & O.T., unclean spirits, evil spirits, Spirit of Divination, Familiar Spirit, Seducing Spirits, Lying Spirit.
“Śerāphîm and Serpents: A number of passages associate śerāphîm with serpents. As a result of the Israelites’ rebellion in the wilderness the Lord sent “venomous [śerāphîm] snakes among them” (Num. 21:6)”
Here is my contention, if the nephilim narrative is true then Noah and his family has corrupted DNA and if God destroyed the earth because of it, Noah and his family would have not been spared even for righteousness sake. So then Jesus has corrupt DNA, you see where this goes, and all of Jesus’ genealogy is DNA corrupt, madness. This is Greek mythology.

  43. Mark Fonner says:

I believe that they still exist, however, I believe that God forbids them from Earth. Are you looking for support on this position?>

  44. Douglas Bell II says:

Genesis 6 is talking about how the godly line of Seth (sons of god) intermarried with the daughter’s of men (descendants of Cain).

Sons of God CANNOT be talking about Angels because Jesus tells us:
Mark 12:24 “Jesus answered and said to them, “Are you not therefore mistaken, because you do not know the Scriptures nor the power of God?
25 “For when they rise from the dead, they neither marry nor are given in marriage, but are like angels in heaven.”

They godly line had so intermixed that by the time of Noah, Only he and his family would survive the flood!

Genesis 6:5 “Then the LORD saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every intent of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually.
6 And the LORD was sorry that He had made man on the earth, and He was grieved in His heart.
7 So the LORD said, “I will destroy man whom I have created from the face of the earth, both man and beast, creeping thing and birds of the air, for I am sorry that I have made them.”
8 But Noah found grace in the eyes of the LORD.”

  45. Grant Reedy says:

There is no biblical nephilim, only in the minds of the deceived who are attracted to mythology rather than the Spirit of truth.

  46. Bobby Van Essen says:

And 6 fingers to a hand and 6 toes to a foot, you still get people with them

  47. Bishopcs Oosterveen says:

    Why not

  48. Laurie Martin says:

    Absolutely

  49. J Allen Noll says:

Has anyone ever wondered why there is a great wall in China??? To keep the Nephlim out!!
