Is this person accountable for his sin and evil actions?
There was a real life instance when a 40 year old man engaged in pedophilic activity due to a tumor on one of the lobes of his brain. He was acting on his impulses, but these impulses were being caused by the tumor.
So in terms of free will and moral responsibility, is that man a predator, victim, or both? Can he be blamed or be responsible for his actions?
Just because he felt more inclined to be a pedo, does not mean he did not freely choose to be a pedo.

If there’s a similar tumour that causes a man to love God and man…
When he noticed his change in behavior, did he turn himself in?
Did the tumor complete remove his cognitive functions? Did it remove his morality? Did the tumor cause his body to engage in horrific acts that the whole time his conscious thought was saying “no, stop ”, meaning he has zero control over his body?
Or is he a sicko that got caught “crossing of bucketlist” items before he died and is now making an excuse that can’t be proved?
Whatever the reasons are. He is still culpable. If you think about it.. our desire to sin comes from the effects of original sin which is of no fault of our own. But we are still held accountable for our sins.
I used to drink a lot. I’d drink until I drop. In such instances I would have blackouts, and the next day my friends would tell me stories of behaviors of mine that I could hardly recall doing. Stories familiar only in my imagination, like Bruce Lee, Jason Statham or Mike Tyson, etc.
He should have seeked help as soon as he felt that impulse. He knew it was wrong and chose to act on it anyway. He is 100% accountable. Feeling inclined doesn’t make him any less of a predator.

Yeah I’m with Daniel Finlay on this one. Guy was clearly already sick if he had those urges.
His impulse caused him to molest someone⁉️ Did they discover this during surgery or when he was committing the act⁉️ Maybe i am not understanding the question❗
He is, according to scripture, as are all of us. We are not condemned because of one specific sin, but because of our sin nature.
When we fall to the law to fix everything we do life wrong. The law of man, while necessary, does not make society better. It’s a stopgap. The legal system should be a last resort.
This post fails to understand Jesus’ point that the sin doesn’t begin with the action but it begins in the mind. So the question for whether God can hold someone responsible for committing a sin with their actions because they couldn’t prevent their thoughts from becoming actions works under the premise of not understanding what Jesus taught about sin in the mind.
Well I assume the tumor came later in his adult years. That said, he has most likely been exposed to Gods Word at some point in the past. If he was truly saved than God will deliver him. Just like when in the Gospels when the tower fell and killed many people the men came to Jesus and said that they must have sinned, but He said that you never know when your life will be taken so get your affairs right with God. (Paraphrasing)
Your either saved or not. Your either “born again” or not. So what do you think it means to be “born again”?
The connection between a tumor and a propensity to pedophilia is forwarded by a doctor. This is not a exhaustive study nor a consensus of the medical community. Ignore it, reject it as evidence. aberrations are not proof of anything.
As much as I wanna comment here or there about what he could or couldn’t have done. We’ve gotta keep in mind that only God knows the heart. I don’t think our thoughts or opinions could change that ?
