It’s been said that if the Devil would have known that Christ turned the tables and opened once again the kingdom of heaven to man that the devil wouldnt have pushed to have Christ executed. Thoughts?

Sounds like nothing more than speculation and should be treated as such

Matt 16:22Peter took him aside and began to rebuke him. “Never, Lord!” he said. “This shall never happen to you!”

23Jesus turned and said to Peter, “Get behind me, Satan! You are a stumbling block to me; you do not have in mind the concerns of God, but merely human concerns.”

All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, 17 so that the servant of God[a] may be thoroughly equipped for every good work.

I believe the rulers mentioned in 1 Corinthians 2:8 refer to the rulers mentioned in Ephesians 6:12. So, yes, they would not have crucified Jesus Christ if they had known. I believe their pride and hatred for God blinded them to the evidence God left for them throughout scripture. Plus they also had to work through men who had pride and hatred.

This type of question or statement has no place in Christianity because it brings many to become confused, it has no basis in Scripture and that is where our questions and statements should be focused
