Don’t know what you mean. We usually say that technically it means the original autographs. Manuscript studies Thea days is a rather deep science. Modern translation have footnotes that point out the major variations. The variations do not in reality effect any doctrine. Its getting the true sense of the original languages into today’s language that is ymthe most troublesome.

Language I would say.So everyone who speaks different languages can understand what he says through the Bible

Its not that hard to understand, Its believing that is the heard part. The Bible is constantly contradicting what we think should be true. Out thoughts are not his thoughts. But he made us so he certainly knoed how to communicate with us. Its our sinful nature that gets in the way. And he becam”one of us in Jesus.

Its not the manuscripts or lack of the priginals that is that problem. It’s our unwillingness to believe that it is God’s word to us that is the lroblem. As older and older manuscripts have been discovered the remarkable thing is the lack.of variations over such large time spans. And how little theumy actually matter.

God preserve his word through his spirit. For instance I could go out right now if I had the money start a Publishing Company and publish the Bible and change anything in it that I wanted to change. Nobody’s going to stop me. But as a born-again believer when I read translations that aren’t exactly accurate they seem off to me. That’s what happens when your spirit is grieved and your spirit is grieved because God is telling you that that’s not exactly what he meant. No one translation is better than any other translations. What you do is compare several translations and get a Concordance and go word by word

AND no one would by I because we’d compare it with what we had and recognize the fraud. The ancients were not so dumb. The miracle is that there is as little variation as there is in the manuscripts and that those differences make so little difference.

The manuscripts. Dr. Daniel Wallace, leading Grammarian, makes the point that we have about 120% of the truth in the mss before us and our job is to only reduce the scribal errors 20% to come to the original.

I recomed you to read the book “Evidence that Demands a Verdict” by Josh and Sean McDowell, they make a very good case for the reliability of the scriptures and if they have been transmitted correctly. He also has videos on YouTube about this topic.
