Origen of Alexandria was a TRI-THEIST
______________________________________
IF ORIGEN WAS A TRI-THEIST, THE WHOLE MODERN TRINITY FALLLASSS APART !“Origen, who is, however, inconsistent in his vocabulary, expressed the anti-Sabellian sense of Dionysius of Alexandria by calling the Son ‘Heteroousion.’.”
-New Advent Encyclopedia,“God the Word, is a seperate Being and has an essence of His own.”
-Origen, Proto-Trinitarian, 3rd CenturyThis teaching of Origen inspired Arianism, full Arianism also teaches Heteroousion, and even though Arianism partly upheld the doctrine of Monarchy by acknowledging that Logos was initially manifested in the beginning, all be it, they say “created”as the LXX. Hebrew maintains for Prov 8, “begotten” and demands a thought of ‘bringing forth’ from something already in existance, God, and was expressed as homoousion by the Monarchians, while the proto-Trinitarians said Homoiousion (semi-Arianism) or echoed the Monarchians recording the orthodoxy.
On Origen:
“The agent whom we call the Second Person of the Trinity is “another god” at Dialogue with Heraclides 2 and a “second god” on two occasions in his work Against Celsus (5.39, 5.61). This appellation is not attested in earlier Christian prose, though it is anticipated in Philo and Numenius.”
-Stanford University Encyclopedia of PhilosophyKevin Lee asked about D of Rome and Sebellius:
Kevin Lee Origen only properly defined the Christian Trinity in the purest Philosophical sense. [Pluriform-Monotheism was applied to polytheistic beliefs, until Philo of Alexandria attempted applying it to Hebrew, then Valentinus attempts with Tatian in 150-170. Both expelled from the Church and fleed to Alexandria leaving cells in Rome as they built a new school in Alexandria.]
Origen’s teachings on 3 separate persons had much influence on the later century’s development of today’s Trinity Theory. Origen’s Eternal Generation Theory was condemned by BOTH Monarchians AND Proto-Trinitarians.
“Origen’s doctrine of the “eternal generation of the Son” was of primary importance in all subsequent discussions on the Trinity….Origen’s doctrine of “eternal creation” was based upon reasoning similar to that employed to show the eternal generation of the Son, but it was rejected by the Church, and figures among the heresies known as Origenism.”
-Joseph Cullen Ayer Jr., Ph.D.

Period iv. The Age of the Consolidation of the Church: 200 to 324 A. D.Always a theory, here, there, everywhere, when investigating the “Trinity” Theory.
“Christian (proto-Trinitarian) thought was strongly influenced by neoplatonic philosophy and mysticism.”
-New Catholic Encyclopedia, Vol 10, pg335“He (Origen) is the first theologian to state unequivocally that the “three hypostases” which constitute the Trinity are eternal not only in nature, but in their hypostatic character; there was never a time when wisdom was the latent thought of the Father and had not yet come forth as speech.”
-Stanford University Encyclopedia of PhilosophyKevin Lee
Although DR is depicted as a proto-Trinitarian in history, his Monarchian leanings provide that He was taking responsibility for the constituency. He has to say that he upholds the Monarchy AND that the Logos Doctrine of Origen was wrong.“Many divide and cut to pieces and destroy that most sacred Doctrine of the Church of God, the Divine Monarchy, making it as it were three powers, substances, and Godhead of Three.”
-Dionysius, Bishop of Rome, 3rd Century“They knew that St. John spoke of the Second Person of the Trinity as the “Word of God” existing from all eternity as an unexpressed word in the mind of a Thinker. Only when God decided to create, and especially when he sent his word upon the earth in the form of the man Christ, did the inner word come forth. It was now the spoken word through him all things were made and who was made flesh and dwelt Among Us.”
-Catholic Encyclopedia Vol 11, pg70On Origen:
“Though Origen rejects it, this was in fact the prevailing thesis of most Christian writing in the second century when it undertook to explain the Fourth Evangelist’s assertion that the one who became incarnate was the Logos who had been with the Father as theos (god) if not ho theos (God) from the beginning (John 1.1). Since it was this speech or word that created the world, it was argued, there would have been no reason for it to exist before the creation as a distinct hypostasis. If he existed at all, it was as the logos endiathetos, the word within, which had not yet emerged from the mind as logos prophorikos, or verbal utterance.”
-Stanford University Encyclopedia of PhilosophyThis helps to show, from a REPUTABLE source, that Origen’s “Eternally Begotten Son” Theory was rejected by the vast majority of Proto-Trinitarians in his day….
Kevin Lee sebellius was a Modalist, not in the truest sense, he was excommunicated by a Monarchian bishop. Which shows Harnarck, “at that time its seems the doctrine of Turtullian and Hippolytus had not yet made its way into the Church”.
Origen was excommunicated and exiled.
In fact, every early Trinity Development contributor was excommunicated:
Tatian
Novatian
Turtullian
Hippolytus
Origen“The Modalists were the successors to the Apostles, not the Trinitarians.”
-LoofsAnd those Modalists taught a Manifested Pre-Incarnate Logos:
“The Word of God, as God’s creature form (Bullinger, pg 896) came forth from the omnipresent Spirit in the dateless past before the “foundation of the world.” The emergence of the Angel of Jehovah as God’s “celestial body” and “mediator” at this remote time is scripturally assured for us (Micah 5:2, Prov. 8:23, John 17:24).”
-Ross Drysdale; ThD, , Classical Oneness,
If Ye Know These Things, pg196“This creed (Nicene) refers to the son’s pre-existance and origin as Logos in these words: “Begotten of his Father before all worlds….the Son being of one substance (Homoousias) with the Father.”
-Ross Drysdale, ThD, Oneness, If Ye Know These Things, 194The Nicene Creed of 325 ad is written in Monarchian language exclusively. This shows that preserving the original faith was important for gaining the Monarchian signatures at the table of the deal. The Creed even anathamatizes those who teach additional and distinct Hypostasis.
Every early Monarchian writer extant, up until Marcellus, taught Logos was originally Begotten Celestially in eternity at or before the beginning and was “through Whom He made the worlds” and “that which was from the beginning”.
