Has anyone ever considered Jesus’s words that he said his kingdom is not of this world? I didn’t just say this once either. But when you read the book of revelation it says Jesus will set up his kingdom on earth. How could the book of revelation contradict what Jesus himself said about his kingdom not being of this world? Something to think about. I rather believe Jesus’s words found in the 4 gospels than to believe what’s written in the book of revelation. What do you think?

That’s the problem of Sola scriptura. The new earth will be here. His kingdom is not from this current world, but from above. And from above He will set up a new Earth.
Show me evidence from Jesus’s own words that the book of revelation is true.
This was Jesus’ statement before the cross … ‘my kingdom is not if this world’ … but after the cross in the great command jesus says, Matthew 28, ‘ all authority in heaven and earth has been given to me’ .. showing that now the earth is his, king of kings and lord of lords … so Jesus kingdom is NOW of this world …
One needs to read in context. The Bible doesn’t contradicts itself, except if it contradicts what one desires to hear. I’ll suggest you read that statement in context with His discussion with Pilate. I’m sure you’ll get the hang of it.
Can’t say I believe part of the Bible but not the entirety of it, cannot cherry pick, and no contradiction.
Jesus is not king of kings and lord of lords. Jesus never said that at all. How can he be king and lord of the vilest kings and lords? Think about it.

I believe there is no contradiction brother , we just need more understanding of the scripture . There are a lot of what seem to be contradictions . But really we just don’t understand. Revelation is the hardest book to understand because it’s full of prophecy’s.
His kingdom is not of this world. And when he comes to reign it will be a new heaven and a new earth. You cant say ” I believe some of the Bible. But not the parts I dont want to”

Revelation is symbolical, not contradiction
Already His Kingdom has started in hearts of His followers completely different from earthly kingdoms. His church is His Kingdom…but fake churches copy partly kingdoms of this world and partly some Bible teachings. True church takes the Bible only not partly.
Everything physical has its genesis in the non physical, spiritual world. He is talking about a spiritual kingdom that is manifested on earth. Matthew 6:9-10 (KJV)
9 After this manner therefore pray ye: Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name.
10 Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven.

As it says in REVELATION, “The kingdom of this world has become the kingdom of our Lord and his Messiah.”
Jesus Said: my Kingdom is not of the earth, not …. of this earthly realm. And after …. the corrupted earth is destroyed by the Wrath of God, then (Dan. 12, count the days) …. He creates the New Earth …. not from what once was, because it – being corrupted – is gone, but a-New, so that He will see it …. as “Good”. You must study carefully, and realize that one of the ploys, tricks of the evil one …. is to cause doubts in minds. The mind is the battle-ground …. therefore, believe God’s Holy Word over all. “Man shall not live by bread alone, but by EVERY Word that comes forth from the Mouth of God.”
The same John wrote Gospel of John and Revelation. Liberal scholars who don’t believe the Bible say otherwise.
When Jesus said that in the Gospels He was speaking of that thin of when He was here on earth the first time, He was not referring to the further, this is why so many of you get confused because you don’t read in the context of what is going on at the time it is being said and to whom it is being spoken to, context tells us what is meant by what is being said

I think the moment you question the veracity of all scripture is a slippery slope. Either it is all true, or it is not worth following. You fall into a trap of the devil “Did God REALLY say…..?”
We can’t pick and choose what we believe in the Bible. It is all or none. That said there is a reason it is written that way. We just have to pray and meditate on it. Good question, appreciate it. God bless
He said ‘…not of this world…’ and ‘…will set up…’.
Keyword: ‘will’. Future tense.
As i believe, that the kingdom of heaven which Jesus refer to as His kingdom will be established after the great war of heaven and earth. Tribulation, second coming… after all that, earth will become new earth or new heaven. An extension of heaven, us His children, governing with our eternal body. Earth has been, from the start, for us human-kind with physical nature. God made the earth for us. But it has been corrupted by sin and by us. So, God is cleaning it then we will go back again. Like the cleaning the fish bowl. We as the fish, the fish bowl as the earth.
Jesus Christ also said, ‘My kingdom is cannot be seen or touched’. Its because it is in spiritual world or form. And i also believe that the kingdom he refers to is us christians. For as we live heavenly, the heaven is evident to us. We are also refered as temples of the Holy Spirit.
So for me, there’s two kingdom that we can identify in the bible. The place where God sits in His throne and us.

No contradiction between the two. Look at what Jesus said to Pilate in John 18:36. This is a main clue as to why the kingdom is not of this world. This does not conflict with the kingdom mentioned in Revelation.
