The Lord sits enthroned above the circle of the earth.

Obviously God created the earth as a sphere. We have pictures of it, and anyone can tell who has been in an airplane. There is nothing in the Bible that contradicts his creation. The “four corners of the earth” is a “figure of speech”. Other mentions of the earth go with being a sphere such as Bobby’s quote above mine, and others.

You are aware, are you not, that the shape of the earth is some of the most useless information there is? Unless you’re taking 7th grade science or some other science course, work in celestial mechanics, or as my son-in-law informs me, work as a gelogist, the actual shape of the earth is pretty much irrelevant.Who in their daily life let’s the shape of the earth influence them?
