Dan Mohler says,
“Jesus didn’t die because we are sinners! He died because something was lost, he came to save that which was lost! What was lost? You’re created value, your destiny, your purpose, His image in you.“
it seems like he’s diminishing the sinfulness of sin. I’m comparing this to Scripture and I wanted to ask all of you to help me find more Scriptures.

1st Tim 1:15
This is a faithful saying, and worthy of all acceptation, that Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners; of whom I am chief
We don’t pose a theory and then look for support. It’s the opposite. We read scripture and submit to its authority.
1st Cor 15:3
For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures;
Man I was confused…I thought that said “Al Mohler”….
All have turned aside; together they have become worthless; no one does good, not even one.”
Romans 3:12 ESV
If we weren’t sinners, Christ would not have had to die to save us from our sins. We’re NOT sinners because we sin, we sin BECAUSE we’re sinners. Jesus is the ONLY cure.
Romans 5:8
But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.
Isiah 59
Behold, the Lord’s hand is not shortened, that it cannot save; neither his ear heavy, that it cannot hear: But your iniquities have separated between you and your God, and your sins have hid his face from you, that he will not hear. For your hands are defiled with blood, and your fingers with iniquity; your lips have spoken lies, your tongue hath muttered perverseness
