Here are tough questions about Christian faith.

• Is it possible to be a rational intelligent person and believe in Jesus Christ as the Son of
God, risen from the dead?
• Do you have to put aside your mind and accept the Creed on blind faith alone?
• Is Christianity actually nothing more than an old superstition that scientists have
disproved?
• Do you have to believe the Bible literally? What does that actually mean?

God asks us to use our mind, study the scriptures and compare them to what we see around us, in order to understand God’s nature.

Science cannot disprove Jesus, any historical scholar will tell you with certainty He lived. Whether or not His claims were true is up for debate, but to scientifically prove other dimesons of reality do not interact with ours in order to raise from the dead, cannot be done.

We are told that without faith it is impossible to please God, but He gives us many many evidences of His sovereignty all over the reality we live in.

Might sound basic, but what year is it and why is that year?

    It’s because God is sovereign.

Here are tough questions about Christian faith.

    • Is it possible to be a rational intelligent person and believe in Jesus Christ as the Son of
    God, risen from the dead?

Reply : Yes, its possible and we have many like Issac Newton, John Lennox, examples

    • Do you have to put aside your mind and accept the Creed on blind faith alone?

Reply: No, faith comes by hearing. But this comes with the help of the Holy Spirit. The bible says renew our minds not remove our minds.

    • Is Christianity actually nothing more than an old superstition that scientists have
    disproved?

Reply; No, science establishes facts but scientists make their own conclusion. I recommend you visit “GodsaidMansaid” official website.

    • Do you have to believe the Bible literally? What does that actually mean?

Reply: Yes some scriptures can be believed literally, others spiritually while others are taken both literally and spiritually .

Yes, it is possible to be rational and intelligent and believe that Jesus rose from the dead, because there were witnesses alive at the time who saw him die and saw him after he rose from the dead, Read about his Apostle Thomas. That’s where “doubting Thomas comes from.

#2 All you have to do is pray that God will open your heart to believe, you may be interested in a book by “Lee Strobel” called “The Case for Christ.” He was an atheist investigative reporter who tried to proof that God did not exist after his wife became a Christian. He changed his mind, you will too.

  5. Donna Smithley says:

#3 Science cannot disprove it. There are things about evolution that could not have happened the way scientists claim. I can find some examples. I listen to a Christian radio program program about it, but I can’t recall the exact name of it right now.

  6. Donna Smithley says:

#4 the Bible is the inerrant word of God. Just pray about it and God will reveal himself to you. You don’t have to believe it, but your eternal salvation is a choice and the key to it is in the Bible.

  7. Nikki Sheppick says:

“God is Spirit.” How can the imaginations (thoughts) or earth-bound disprove anything that it is blinded to?

  8. Susanne Marie Tavares says:

    i.e. The Apostle Paul

    These are easy questions.
There is zero truth in any of this.
Google how many Christians have won Nobel prizes for science.
Google how many Christians are responsible for major breakthroughs in science.
down to the opposite Google how many agnostics and atheists disavow common ancestry evolution.
Google how many agnostics and atheists through science have come to believe in the literal creation event of Genesis.
Start a tremendous differences between theism and atheism and I’m willing ready and able to challenge any atheist on science grounds immediately It is not even a challenge.
In fact One of the most beautiful things is very evidences that use it’s the strongest argument against Christianity are actually the strongest arguments for Christianity.
They say there’s no way people can rise from the dead and for us to believe that is obscene and absurd.
Whereas I use the resurrection of Jesus from the dead as the final argument and the one that is the strongest argument for Christianity and I think Paul does this too He says if it didn’t happen Christianity’s done there’s no point Christianity whatsoever it’s a big lie nobody should believe it if Jesus did not rise from the dead.
But that we understand perfectly well that he is risen!

  10. Jessica Zoretich says:

There is no such a thing like “faith alone “ nowhere in the Bible you’ll find those words together only the heretic Protestant bibles that where altered on purpose and are not found on the original scriptures.

  11. Jereme McAlpin says:

    These are not hard questions.
    1. Not only is it possible to be a rational intelligent person and believe in the resurrection, it is irrational to believe in anything else.

    2. No, you do not have to put aside your mind and accept the creed on blind faith alone. There is plenty of circumstantial evidence pointing directly to who God is.

    3. No christianity is not an old superstition and science has not disproved it.

    4. The parts of the Bible that are literal need to be taken literally. Metaphors need to be taken as Metaphors. Parables need to be understood as Parables. The Bible needs to be taken in context.
