James A Cross at Lee College Heritage Week — February 9, 1979
Reminding students of God’s charge on their lives, James A. Cross recounts his early ministry as evangelist, pastor, and state overseer during this final 1979 Lee College Heritage Week service. According to Cross, who also served as Church of God general overseer and president of Lee, persecution and hardship developed backbone and endurance. He recalls that despite the difficulties, “A host of God’s chosen people dared go, dared stand, dared preach the gospel, until today, throughout this world the Church of God is proudly holding aloft the blood-stained banner of Jesus Christ….I praise God for those men and women.”
