Assistant General Overseer J. David Stephens congratulates the Dixon Pentecostal Research Center on their 50th Anniversary of ministry. Bishop Stephens serves as the International Executive Committee liaison to the Church of God Historical Commission. Appointed biennially by the International Executive Committee, the Historical Commission promotes the preservation, understanding, and appreciation of the history and heritage of the Church of God, worldwide. It gives attention to the collecting and preserving of historical documents and to the writing of history at all levels. It also seeks to produce, and to encourage the production of historical materials as well as to promote occasions for the church to remember, appreciate, and celebrate its history and heritage. The Church of God Historical Commission is a vital partner with the Dixon Pentecostal Research Center.
