There were “colored church” assemblies in the Church of God however there were no “white church” assemblies. Can you figure that out?

Not sure if I agree with that, Charles. It is my understanding that negroes were not welcome in the COG, and so some of their leaders formed what is now Church of God in Christ. COGIC.

The coloreds always invited COG administrative executives to come to the assemblies to address the congregations however the white people would not attend a colored service for racist reasons. They thought that they had a place and the coloreds had a place.
On the other hand colored people attended the “white” assemblies if they could afford it. So in that the “whites” believed they weren’t racist in their denomination.
Actually if whites had attended the colored meetings it would have bridged a gap for a integrated Church denomination. IMHO “Whites” are the fault and were racist in their views.
