Much of my personal devotion/spirituality at Lee College was formed in the prayer room on the lower level of the old auditorium. It was not elaborate and seemed to combine prayer and storage area. It had a makeshift altar area for prayer. Often you would go there and there would be students prevailing in prayer all through the day.
Does Lee University have these places for prayer anymore?

There are several places like this. The library has a prayer chapel as well as the stone chapel
The rooms to the left and right of the stage were called prayer rooms when I graduated in 2011.
I used the old prayer room a lot at Lee but rarely encountered other students there.
I prayed in the old prayer room under the old auditorium as well.
