Why is it that Dr. Michael Welborn is not the state appointed senior pastor at Metropolitan Church of God in Birmingham, Alabama? How long will this appointment take? Is there a capable pastor in Alabama for this church?

Charles Page, I think you are bitter old man who started this page just so you could have a place to gripe. I think you need to check your motivations. I am leaving this page because I actually have a life and have learned that trying to reason with the unreasonable is the equivalent of spitting in the wind.

I’ve attended North Cleveland for 47 years, I’ve been a member for 43 years. We have in the past been handed a pastor, some of them not of our choosing, this one was our choice. No other name was ever considered as the new pastor by the council of the church. Perhaps you were treated shabbily at one time Charles by the church. But you seem to have become vindictive toward almost everything Church of God. I don’t see how that can be pleasing to God. I know I’m not going to convince you of anything, long standing beliefs are seldom altered by fact.
