“Ô, Sunlight! The most precious gold to be found on Earth.”
― Roman Payne
Ironically, with us living on a mostly round planet, your sunrise is someone else’s sunset.
Remember that when you’re starting something new.
Your new start probably means someone else is finishing.
As your new entrance is being celebrated, someone’s exit is probably being ignored.
As you’re creating new memories with your new adventure, someone else’s adventure is over and all they’ve got is memories.
As you’re breathing in the fresh air of a brand-new day, someone else is breathing out their last breath at the end of their day (life?).
**
This does not have to be a bad thing; it is the natural course of life. But it should cause us to step into each new day and situation reverently and respectfully and humbly and kindly…we’re not on this planet alone.
The ONE THING for today: Every new day ends another day. Live life as if it will soon be over.
