My idea of the politics of false accusation would include people:
- That say the Republicans want to push granny over a cliff.
- That compare Pres. Trump to Adolph Hitler.
- That say those that oppose abortion are against women’s rights, they are women haters, and things like that.
- That say those that oppose same-sex marriage, the bodily mutilation of children with trans surgeries, etc. hate gays.
- That say those that criticize radical Islamic terrorists that are trying to destroy Israel are Islamophobes.
The politics of false accusation is deceit.
Jesus and the Apostle Paul called deceit a sign of the end of the age.
Deceit, false accusations, etc., is a propaganda tactic that often works, and because it does, many politicians and many in the so-called mainstream media often use it.
This is a major reason why so many people have stopped voting, and why the so-called mainstream media has lost so much credibility.
Here are some recent events that seem to indicate that the end of the age is close:
One, concerning the politics of false accusations: on Jan. 6, 2026, Worthy News reported that:
- The White House marked the fifth anniversary of the January 6, 2021, Capitol breach by launching a new website aimed at challenging what it says is a Democrat-driven distortion of events and years of politically motivated prosecutions against Americans who participated in protests that day.
- According to the White House, Democrats “reversed reality” following January 6 by portraying what began as a political protest as a coordinated insurrection directed by Donald Trump, despite what the administration says was no evidence of an armed rebellion or an organized plan to overthrow the government.
- Speaking this week at a House Republican retreat, President Trump cited the video (a video of Nancy Pelosi admitting that she refused to call up the National Guard), saying she declined an offer of National Guard support. “They (the so-called mainstream media) never reported that Nancy Pelosi was offered 10,000 National Guard soldiers; he accused the media of suppressing that information.
This is the kind of thing I am referring to as I write about the politics of false accusation (deceit; politically motivated half-truths and lies; reverse reality) that has caused people to stop voting and the so-called mainstream media to lose a lot of credibility.
It is the politics of political and media destruction of others (deliberately and constantly twisting the truth) that I am referring to.
Two, concerning the politics of false accusations: on Jan. 11, 2026, the U.S. Sec. of Homeland Security, Kristi Noem, was interviewed by CNN’s Jake Tapper on the “State of the Union” program about the fatal shooting of Renee Good.
Noem contended that Good attempted to run over the ICE agents who were trying to get her to stop blocking traffic with her car, and one of the ICE agents shot Good in self-defense when she tried to run him down.
Video, eye witnesses, and the ICE agent’s cellphone confirm what Noem said, but Tapper insisted that she was wrong.
Noem told Tapper,
- You can’t change the facts just because you don’t like them.
- Everything that I’ve said has been proven to be factual.
(My comment: In the past, I have heard others call CNN the Communist News Network because they often twist the facts.)
Three, concerning Pres. Trump’s Jan. 7, 2026, Pres. Trump memorandum directing the U.S. to withdraw from 66 international organizations, including 31 entities tied to the United Nations: the U.S. Sec. of State Marco Rubio said:
- The Trump administration has found these institutions to be redundant in their scope, mismanaged, unnecessary, wasteful, poorly run, captured by the interests of actors advancing their own agendas contrary to our own or a threat to our nation’s sovereignty, freedoms and general prosperity.
- President Trump is clear: It is no longer acceptable to be sending these institutions the blood, sweat and treasure of the American people, with little to nothing to show for it.
- The days of billions of dollars in taxpayer money flowing to foreign interests at the expense of our people are over.
(My comment: I have often referred to the UN as the United Nothing and expressed my opinion that the U.S. should get out of it. I am glad to see this, but the Bible teaches that a weak world government is coming – the Ten Kings – and they will be replaced by a very dangerous world government – the government of the Antichrist. In addition to this, the U.S. national debt is about 39 trillion dollars, and we desperately need to stop wasting billions of dollars on these dysfunctional institutions.)
(Update: On Jan. 8, 2026, UN Sec. Gen. Guterres said the United States has a “legal obligation” to keep paying its dues that fund U.N. agencies. A spokesperson for Guterres added, “As we have consistently underscored, assessed contributions to the United Nations regular budget and peacekeeping budget, as approved by the General Assembly, are a legal obligation under the UN Charter for all Member States, including the United States.)
Four, concerning the ceasefire in Gaza: on Jan. 8, 2026, U.S. Ambassador to Israel Mike Huckabee said little progress has been achieved in the Gaza ceasefire deal in recent weeks.
(My comment: The belief that there is going to be a permanent ceasefire in the Middle East is contrary to what the Bible says.)
Five, concerning perilous times at the end of the age: on Jan. 8, 2026, Pres. Trump proposed raising U.S. military spending to $1.5 trillion in 2027, a 66% increase that he said is necessary to secure the nation amid what he described as “very troubled and dangerous times.”
Six, concerning the seas and waves (of humanity) roaring, wickedness (the days of Noah), wars and rumors of wars, and the possible Battle of Gog of Magog: in 12 days of protests, Iran has now gunned down more than 40 unarmed people and injured many more.
On Jan. 8, 2026, Pres. Trump said,
- If they do that (keep killing their own people), we’re going to hit them very hard.
- We’re going to hit them hard.
- We’re ready to do it.
(Update: On Jan. 9, 2026, Reza Pahlavi, the exiled son of the deceased Shah of Iran, sent a direct appeal to Pres. Trump: “Mr. President, this is an urgent and immediate call for your attention, support, and action. Last night you saw the millions of brave Iranians in the streets facing down live bullets. Today, they are facing not just bullets but a total communications blackout. No Internet. No landlines.” Pahlavi added, “Iran’s Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei wants to use this blackout to murder these young heroes.”)
(Update: On Jan. 10, 2026 – the 14th day of rioting – it was estimated that there are somewhere between 1.5 and 2 million protesters in the streets of Iran. Unlike previous attempted uprisings, this one is spreading like wildfire and is now reportedly in 512 locations in over 220 cities and in virtually all 31 provinces. The US has already clandestinely moved military resources to the area, and it looks like Trump is going to smack the Islamic tyrants hard if they don’t flee first.)
(Update: On Jan. 11, 2026, it was reported that some believe that hundreds of protestors may have been killed, and thousands have been wounded or jailed in Iran.)
(Update: On Jan. 11, 2026, Pres. Trump was asked if his administration has a message for Iran, and he replied, “You’ll find out pretty soon.”)
(Update: On Jan. 12, 2026, Pres. Trump said, “Effective immediately, any country doing business with the Islamic Republic of Iran will pay a Tariff of 25% on any and all business being done with the United States of America.”)
(Update: On Jan. 12, 2026, the U.S. urged U.S. citizens in Iran to leave immediately.)
(Update: On Jan. 13, 2026, Pres. Trump will meet with several members of his cabinet to discuss U.S. options and a possible military response to Iran’s treatment of protesters.)
(Update: On Jan. 13, 2026, Pres. Trump said help – for Iran – is on the way.)
(Update: On Jan 13, 2026, it was reported that an Arab source said the Ayatollah Khamenei has gone into hiding in an underground bunker.)
(Update: On Jan. 14, 2026, Pres. Trump said that he has been told that the killings and the executions have stopped. He said I hope it is true, but who knows. We are going to watch and see what the process is.)
(My opinion: We have to wait to see how this plays out and if it has any impact on the Battle of Gog of Magog. Nevertheless, we know that God’s Word will be fulfilled.)
Seven, concerning wickedness and violence at the end of the age: on Jan. 8, 2026, after the killing of Renee Good, 37, who drove a vehicle at an ICE agent, prompting the gunfire that killed her:
- Trump said he watched a video of the incident, and it is his opinion that she was an agitator, probably a paid agitator, a very high-level agitator that wouldn’t stop screaming.
- Her confrontation with ICE was not normal.
Trump decided to ignore the liberal outrage and false accusations and increase the number of ICE agents in Minnesota (one report said by as many as 1,000).
Eight, concerning wars and rumors of wars: on Jan. 10, 2026, more than 20 U.S. aircraft struck at least 35 ISIS locations in Syria.
The U.S. said it struck the sites in retaliation for the ISIS terrorist ambush in Palmyra, Syria, on Dec. 13 that killed two American soldiers and one U.S. civilian interpreter.
Nine, concerning sanctuary cities in the U.S.: on Jan. 13, 2026, Pres. Trump said, starting February 1, we’re not paying any of our cities or states having sanctuary cities because they do everything possible to protect criminals at the expense of American citizens, and it breeds fraud and crime and all of the other problems that come.
Ten, concerning Pres. Trump’s 20-Point Plan and a ceasefire in Gaza: on Jan. 14, 2026, it was reported that:
- S. Middle East special envoy Steve Witkoff announced the launch of Phase II of U.S. Pres. Trump’s 20-point Peace Plan, marking a transition from a fragile ceasefire to demilitarization, technocratic governance, and large-scale reconstruction of the war-ravaged enclave.
- Witkoff warned that the United States expects Hamas to fully comply with its obligations under the agreement, including the immediate return of the final deceased Israeli hostage. He said failure to do so would result in “serious consequences.”
FYI: God does not send anyone to Hell (all of us are born with a sin nature and destined to go to Hell because we sin), but God has provided a way (Jesus) for everyone to go to Heaven (and He is the only way to get there; John 14:6).
Finally, are you Rapture Ready?
If you want to be rapture ready and go to heaven, you must be born again (John 3:3). God loves you, and if you have not done so, sincerely admit that you are a sinner; believe that Jesus is the virgin-born sinless Son of God, who died for the sins of the world, was buried, and raised from the dead; ask Him to forgive your sins, cleanse you, come into your heart and be your Saviour; then tell someone that you have done this.
