The apostle Paul said the things that happened to the Israelites in the wilderness were examples that were written for our admonition, upon whom the ends of the ages have come (I Cor 10:11).
On Feb. 23, 2026, Worthy Brief said Paul was pointing out that:
- The wilderness story was more than history.
- The failures, the warnings, the consequences – none of them were revealed by accident.
- They were intentionally recorded in Scripture as a warning system.
Worthy Brief added that:
- God does not wait for us to fall before He speaks.
- He speaks ahead of time.
- He writes the lesson in advance so we do not have to learn it the hard way.
- This is the mercy of correction.
- Warnings are not rejection — they are protection.
- Admonition is not condemnation — it is preservation.
- A loving Father does not remain silent when danger is near.
- He raises His voice.
- He places guardrails.
- He repeats what matters.
- When Scripture confronts us, it is not trying to crush us – it is trying to spare us.
- God would rather correct us through His Word than discipline us through consequence.
- Paul said this was written “upon whom the ends of the ages have come.”
- In other words, we are the ones standing at the edge of fulfillment.
- That makes these warnings even more urgent.
- The closer we are to the promised land, the more important it is to heed instruction.
As I understand what Worthy Brief is saying:
- The end-of-the-age signs are converging on our generation right now.
- The fact that God revealed these signs is an act of mercy.
- They mean we are approaching the Promised Land, and we need to be ready.
Here are some recent events that seem to indicate that the end of the age is close:
One, concerning signs in the sun, moon and stars before the great and terrible day of the Lord: on Feb. 27, 2026, The Prophecy News Watch staff (PNW) wrote an excellent article that in part says:
- The headlines and the heavens appear to be speaking at the same time.
- In a single stretch of days, the world is watching escalating tension between Iran, Israel, and the United States, while the night sky stages a rare celestial display: a six-planet alignment followed almost immediately by a total lunar eclipse–the so-called “blood moon”–falling on the Jewish feast of Purim.
- For students of Scripture and watchers of world events, the convergence is difficult to ignore.
- Today’s headlines may echo ancient dangers, but they also echo ancient promises.
- The same Scriptures that warn of wars and rumors of wars also proclaim that God remains sovereign over nations, rulers, and time itself.
- In an age of satellites and nuclear diplomacy, it is easy to forget that the heavens still declare the glory of God.
- Whether one sees these events as coincidence or calling, the message for believers is the same: watch, pray, and remember that history is not spiraling out of control–it is unfolding according to a plan.

Two, concerning a possible U.S.-Israel attack on Iran’s nuclear weapons and ballistic missile systems (which would likely result in an Iranian retaliation on Israel and be the latter-day and latter-year Battle of Gog of Magog): on Feb. 27, 2026,
- Sources told the Jerusalem Post that U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM) chief Admiral Brad Cooper briefed US President Donald Trump on potential military options in Iran.
- The meeting indicates that Trump is approaching a critical decision point: whether nuclear talks with Iran still have a realistic chance, or whether a military option must be pursued.
Three, on Feb. 26, 2026, the Alma Research and Education Center said although Israel may not be directly involved in carrying out US military strikes against the Iranian regime, it is likely that Iran may directly attack Israel using missiles and UAVs.
(More: on Feb. 27, 2026, US Ambassador to Israel Mike Huckabee told US Embassy staff who wish to leave to do so TODAY. Several other nations have issued similar warnings in recent days.)
(More: On Feb. 27, 2026, it was reported that US officials have confirmed that Iran is concealing a large amount of highly enriched uranium at its Isfahan nuclear site that’s very close to being weapons-grade.)
(More: On Feb. 27, 2026, William Koenig – Koenig’s Eye View – wrote military preparedness is essential. Strategic deterrence is prudent. But ultimately, Israel’s preservation has never depended solely on iron domes, aircraft carriers, or stealth bombers but on the God of Israel.)
(Reminder: It has been reported that Iran already has armed terrorist cells inside the U.S., and Iran has threatened to retaliate against the U.S.)
(Update: On Mar. 1, 2026, a Muslim shooter killed two people and injured 14 in Austin, Tx. He entered the U.S. as an immigrant from Senegal, but became a U.S. citizen by marrying a woman born in the U.S. He was wearing a T-shirt that bore the words “Property of Allah.” The police killed him.)
(Update: On Mar. 1, 2026, a member of a suspected Muslim sleeper cell fired 17 shots into a gym in Canada that was owned by an Iranian who spoke out against the Khomeini government’s killing of Iranian citizens.)
The U.S. calls its attacks Operation Epic Fury.
Israel calls its attacks Operation Roaring Lion.

Tue. Day 4 (Mar. 3, 2026)

- An Iranian official said members of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) in Lebanon will be arrested.
- Iran said it will target the Israeli nuclear site of Dimona if Israel and the USseek regime change in the Islamic Republic.
Some of my thoughts:
- The Iranian Mahdi (twelfth Imam) did not come out of his cave or well to rescue Iran during this great war (perhaps he was asleep or in the bathroom; I Kings 18:27).
- The Prince of Persia (demonic power over Iran; Dan. 10:13, Eph. 6:12) has not been destroyed, so Iran’s temporary government will still be demonic, and it will keep trying to destroy Israel.
- Iran will seek the help of sympathizers (Russia, Turkey, Libya, Ethiopia, etc.) for another attempt to destroy Israel (Gog of Magog).
- Iran’s air force and missiles are being destroyed, so if Iran tries to destroy Israel anytime soon, it will have to be a ground invasion (on the mountains of Israel).
- Iran’s proxies (Hezbollah, Houthis, Hamas, etc.) did not try to help Iran.
- The odds of Hamas yielding to Trump’s threats of destruction and agreeing to disarm under Phase 2 of Trump’s 20-Point Peace Plan just went up.
- The Bible says what the nations try to do to Israel at the end of the age will be done to them. Two years ago, Iran and its proxies were attacking Israel on every side. Today, the U.S. and Israel are attacking Iran on every side.
- God has proven that no weapon formed against Israel at the end of the age shall prosper.
- The U.S. is at war with Iran, which has threatened to destroy America, so why are we tolerating an Iranian mosque in Virginia that is honoring Khamenei? Iran is our enemy. Four American soldiers have died there.
FYI: God does not send anyone to Hell (all of us are born with a sin nature and destined to go to Hell because we sin), but God has provided a way (Jesus) for everyone to go to Heaven (and He is the only way to get there; John 14:6).
Finally, are you Rapture Ready?
If you want to be rapture ready and go to heaven, you must be born again (John 3:3). God loves you, and if you have not done so, sincerely admit that you are a sinner; believe that Jesus is the virgin-born, sinless Son of God, who died for the sins of the world, was buried, and raised from the dead; ask Him to forgive your sins, cleanse you, come into your heart and be your Saviour; then tell someone that you have done this.
