What is the purpose for bringing in a celebrity preacher to speak at a Church of God general headquarters function?

I would like to see more pastors. evengelists, missionaries and church planters speak at these meetings myself, just saying my thoughts.

I have heard it said that both Wade Houton and Ray Hughes was a Preacher’s preacher. A professor said some people can teach and that some people can teach teachers. Maybe they are chosen because they can teach preachers or preach to preachers.

These type of questions are absolutely meaningless. Why does it matter who they get for any function? I would hope they pray and seek God’s will for anything of such importance!
