Sunday’s focus in Church of God services will be on the Declaration of Faith in smaller churches in which adherence to Dr Tim Hill’s guidelines are given.
The larger metro churches down play the denominational ties and cater to the congregational mindset. Declaration of Faith will not be that important.
North Cleveland COG and Westmore COG in Cleveland, Tennessee will be the exceptions. The congregations in Washington DC and Tampa area will not hear about the DOF.
Am I wrong about this?
Tell us Monday if your Church presented the DOF focus! Maybe it will be hidden on the back of the Sunday bulletin.
Church of God writers write about the disagreements over the subject of sanctification again, again and again and have been writing about that for one hundred years!
Yet when I ask an administrative bishop about article 6 of the Declaration of Faith they act like they know nothing about the issue. It’s just not a problem!!!
It just isn’t that big of a problem they say, not a big deal.
