Lee University provides you a good education to serve in the Assembly Of God! A graduate of LU is well on his way to being a minister in the AOG. I would say the same for Pentecostal Theological Seminary.
Does the Church of God have a bible college or seminary that trains students for preaching and teaching in COG?
The only difference between the Assemblies of God and the Church of God was the teaching on the 2nd definite work of Grace called sanctification. The assemblies of God did not teach that, though they teach a progressive work of Sanctification. Even in bygone days al lot of Church of God ,ministers could not accept the 2nd definite work of Gorace. It was an issue and it has been already admitted on this forum. But these ministers nevertheless stilled believed in old time Holiness, despite of the sanctification issue. When did the COG Bible colleges drop Sanctification. Didn’t Lee College teach it at one time? There was a time and I remember well, when a lot of old time Church of God preachers and members believed that if you weren’t a member of the COG you was not saved and you would not make it to heaven. I know I heard it preached, even into the 70’s. Some COG also used to say the AG was worldly and they wouldn’t make it to heaven. They had a holier than thou attitude. I know because I have attended and visited both churches during revivals and regular services. Though now both AG & COG are worldly as the other. There is no difference. At one time the COG could not let a minister of another denomination without approval of the sectional pastor or the district offices. I still like old time preaching and convictions, but I am just pointing out some of the weaknesses of the past.

Isn’t Lee University Church of God?
I have known many people who have went to Lee University who are ministers in the Church of God. We had Northwest Minot here in my hometown of Minot ND but it has been closed for many years now. It was a Church of God Bible college.
