  1. I have very short hair. So I’m not going to see the Lord.

  2. Charles Page says:

Without holiness no man shall see the Lord. I would suggest you start growing hair tonight and seek God for for forgiveness and mercy.

  3. I grow hair, I just get it cut once a month

The Bible doesn’t say that. The Bible says ‘holiness, without which no man shall see the Lord…’. It does NOT say ‘Holiness, without which no man shall see the Lord.’

How long was Jesus’ hair? Did Paul get a chance to cut his hair between Cencrea and the time he died? How many years of hair growth did he have on his head in Acts 22?

  5. I’m so thankful that I’m grounded in the Word and I don’t allow such comments to sway my beliefs or how I dress or wear my hair. My hair is short and I know that my salvation is true and sure. Judge not lest you be in danger of judgement. What is in my heart shows in the way I dress and speak, therefore if I’m a child of God, this will show in my daily life and the way I dress and wear my hair. I’d be very careful with your accusations of I were you.

I am in line with COG Declaration of Faith about sanctification. I believe you are born again and need to go on to sanctification and if you don’t go on to sanctification you remain born again.

I have stated that this is the condition of Paula Hill. She is a born again christian, on her way to heaven, but has denied going on to sanctification.

Where I depart from the Declaration is their interpretation of regeneration which as I have studied has never been made clear.

It is clear that sanctification is a definite, separate, subsequent work which is instantaneous and entire. It is a necessity to being baptized with the Holy Spirit.

  7. Thank God for male pattern baldness. My wife had always wanted me to let my hair grow out and to have a ponytail but I couldn’t even grow a man bun!

  8. Please, everyone, stop responding to this extremists gentleman. it is so sad.Who appointed him as a judge?

Numbers 6 says Nazarites are holy to the Lord during their time of consecration.

8 All the days of his separation he is holy unto the Lord.

Can you show me a verse that says that men are holy by virtue of having short hair?

Were Samson, possibly Samuel, or John the Baptist unholy for having long hair? What about Paul or the men whose expenses Paul paid in the temeple?

  10. Charles Page says:

no, only that it is a shame for a man to have long hair.

  11. Charles Page says:

Do you have a male friend who has long hair?

  12. Link Hudson says:

Charles Page, I can think of a relative off the top of my head. Men around here typically have short hair.

  13. Charles Page says:

Are the men who have short hair holy? do the relatives who have long hair holy?

  14. Charles Page says:

If you are searching for holy men stick with the men who have short hair. There you will find the holy men.

  15. Link Hudson says:

Charles Page, the Bible says Nazarites are holy to the Lord during their vow. Do you agree or disagree?

  16. Link Hudson says:

    Numbers 6
8 All the days of his separation he is holy unto the Lord.

Can you show me a verse that says that men are holy by virtue of having short hair?

  17. Charles Page says:

Can you show me a verse that says that men are holy by virtue of having short hair? no men are holy because of faith in Christ, the word and Holy Ghost. If they have that faith they will live without shame.

The Nazarite vow are voluntary vows to demonstrate shame. Christ had to endure the same of the cross. His nakedness was exposed in open shame.

They let their hair go uncut to demonstrate shame. They did not drink wine or touch a dead person.

  18. Charles Page says:

God allowed a special grace in their favor.

  19. Charles Page says:

There was no shame in drinking wine but there was shame in refusing the fruit of the vine.

  20. Charles Page says:

Link Hudson, are these men holy? They all have short hair.

  21. Link Hudson says:

Charles Page, the Bible never says that you can tell if a man is holy if he has short hair. It does say tell us that Nazarites, who grew their hair out, were holy to the LORD>

  22. Charles Page says:

according to scripture you can tell who is not sanctified by their hair. I heard a long haired (hell’s angel type) preach at a community tent revival in McMinnville, Tennessee. He tried to preach old fashion holiness. He had been saved in a COG but had gone independent. I didn’t think there was any anointing in his message but the crowd loved him. Everyone loves the testimony of a reformed drunk and love his tales of his life in sin!

  23. Link Hudson says:

    Hebrews 12:2
2 looking unto Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith, who for the joy that was set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.

    Notice the word ‘shame’.

    Is Jesus holy?

  24. Charles Page says:

let me think about that. Is it a trick question?
