what do you think of this as an altar service with a drummer solo providing the beat! Me, I don’t like it!

idk….it’s hard to say….Smith Wigglesworth had some very unusual practices. Maybe once is a while, but surely not a weekly thing. idk, kinda creeps me out a little.

but if you like drum solos turn the volume up. I like drums but not in church like this.

I’m not discounting that God didn’t move. It looks like He was. The preacher was out praying for people and it looks like he was flowing in the anointing. I’m not saying nobody there wasnt sincere, because their were some people there who were sincere. But it does look rather emotionally driven. Not a big fan of a drum solo for an altar call.

Maybe the rest of the music was on the floor and the drums was all they had to keep going.

But I love the responses of the youth at the altar.

If most of these young people are saved then the Pastor is going to have alot to answer for some day for not teaching them how they should dress.

As a teenager I just wanted to encounter God and could tune out the music and the preaching once focused on the presence of the Holy Spirit. I now like softer music to soak to.

I have soloed during altar call several times. Only at the direction of my pastor music pastor. There are times to be quiet and times to make a joyful noise.

Come on, instead of focusing on the drum beat, look at the young people seeking god. Mercy sakes this is a youth camp! Be glad they’re here instead of the streets. Looks like a move of the Holy Spirit to me.

Rather than being a spectator, why don’t you just worship?

If I were there I would be a participant but I would be ignoring what takes place on the nightclub stage.

It’s not a drum solo. The bass player’s hands are still moving on the fretboard. He is still playing. The recording just picked up the drums more than any other instrument. The drummer is doing lots of fills but it’s not a solo. This is quite typical of a Pentecostal worship service.
