A few devotional thoughts…
111221 Good morning!
Just a quick reminder that you were made (John 1:3 “All things were made by him; and without him was not anything made that was made.”)
- In other words, you didn’t just happen, and you are not an accident
- But instead, you have a Maker who designed you for a purpose.
- Catch this – There is nothing or no one more powerful that your Maker, therefore nothing can unmake or undo you…so don’t let the pressure get to you today…your Maker (the Lord Jesus Christ) is still on the Throne…all is well.
Affirmation of the day:
- According to the truth that is in Jesus, I shall take responsibility for living a righteous and holy life by intentionally and faithfully renewing my mind.
Ephesians 4:21-24 (NKJV) …as the truth is in Jesus: 22 that you put off, concerning your former conduct, the old man which grows corrupt according to the deceitful lusts, 23 and be renewed in the spirit of your mind, 24 and that you put on the new man which was created according to God, in true righteousness and holiness.
- Lord Jesus, this verse reminds me that I live in at least two universes. The one that my feet walk in and the one that my mind walks in.
