Matthew 24:3 “Now as He sat on the Mount of Olives, the disciples came to Him privately, saying, ‘Tell us, when will these things be? And what will be the sign of Your coming, and of the end of the age?’”
The Bible provides us prophetical “signs” that would occur just prior to the return of Jesus Christ to planet Earth. Jesus said that when all these signs come together, he will be “right at the door” ready to return…
Matthew 24:33-35 “So you also, when you see all these things, know that it is near—at the doors! Assuredly, I say to you, this generation will by no means pass away till all these things take place. Heaven and earth will pass away, but My words will by no means pass away.”
Matthew 24:8 “All these are the beginning of sorrows.”
- Note: “sorrows” literally means birth pangs, with the eventual culmination being the glorious return of Jesus Christ to our world!
- Jesus strongly encouraged his disciples (the Church) to be aware of the myriad of indicators or ‘signs’ that His return was imminent… this is our generation that He was specifically speaking to.
