CSC Training Accessible for All
The Church of God Chaplains Commission, in cooperation with the Pentecostal Theological Seminary is offering a Community Service Chaplaincy training course. Classroom instruction with simultaneous webcast for Level I and Level II Community Service Chaplaincy will take place June 11-15 at the Pentecostal Theological Seminary in Cleveland, Tennessee. Participants have the choice to sit in the classroom in Cleveland or engage in real time from their home or office anywhere in the world.
Dr. Brenda Pace and Dr. Richard Pace will lead the training that equips clergy and laypeople to better minister outside the walls of the local church. Local professionals in the various fields of Community Service Chaplaincy will provide practical instruction from their expertise. Topics for the training include theology of chaplaincy, crisis and stress, public prayer, PTSD, ethics and legalities, death notifications, cycle of grief, peer support, violence cycle, and care for first responders.
