**“Do not marvel at this; for the hour is coming…
**“Do not marvel at this; for the hour is coming in which all who are in the graves will hear His voice and come forth- those who have done good the resurrection of life…” John 5:28-29a**
The dead in Christ will hear His voice at His coming. (**John 5:28-29a) **This is the resurrection unto eternal life.** (1 Thes. 4:14-16)** In the twinkling of an eye, their bodies will be raised incorruptible. **(1 Cor. 15:50-52)**
**“…And those who have done evil, to the resurrection of condemnation.” John 5:29b**
**‘And many of those who sleep in the dust of the earth shall awake, some to everlasting life, some to shame and everlasting contempt.’ Daniel 12:2**
**“I have hope in God, which they themselves also accept, that there will be a resurrection of the dead, both of thejust and the unjust.” Acts 24:15**
There will also be a resurrection unto condemnation. (**John 5:29b)** This is for those who did evil. Daniel calls this judgment shame and everlasting contempt. Many, not all, shall awake at this resurrection. Which means this can’t be for all who ever lived. For those who awake, some will receive everlasting life; others everlasting contempt. (**Dan. 12:2, Acts 24:15)** Which means this can’t be for all who are saved. This condemnation is reserved for those who were once saved!** (1 Tim. 4:1, 2 Pet. 2:20-22, Heb. 6:4-6)**
