“It has been said, ‘time heals all wounds.’ I do not agree. The wounds remain. In time, the mind, protecting its sanity, covers them with scar tissue and the pain lessens. But it is never gone.” _Rose Fitzgerald Kennedy

One of the most important things you can do for people you care about is to remember.

We’ve all done it…

Tragedy strikes and we all pile on showing our support and concern.

A big game or event comes around and we are there, on the front roll cheering them on.

But give it a few days, a few months, a few years, and life moves on…but they don’t.

They still experience the loss, the sadness, and the pain.  They’re still slogging through the race of life but no one’s there to cheer them on through the ordinary.

Make a point to remember.

Circle back around on the anniversary of those significant moments – good or bad – and remind those you love that they are not forgotten.  It will mean the world to them.

The ONE THING for today: Thoughtful friends are not only there, but they circle back around and remind us that they are still there.
