Feeling Sorry for God :: By Jim Towers

After creating mankind, giving him free will to do as he pleased and surrounding him with beauty, a verdant garden, and womankind to keep him company, God only gave him one restriction – not to eat of the tree of knowledge of good and evil, and human beings have failed Him to this very day.

I feel so sorry for such a benevolent Creator, who created all things for our good pleasure, to be snubbed by humankind. It makes me angry. But we are obstinate and have been corrupted by the Evil One. And so, it’s in our very genes to do wrong, even to the extent of killing millions of infants through abortion – his most precious gift to mankind.

Mankind has even gone so far as to deny his very existence. Neither have they obeyed his commandments, and instead have tried to obliterate the Ten Commandments from even our Christian country, and are ushering in Sharia. No one can say that they are innocent, “For there is none righteous – no NOT ONE, for all we like sheep have gone astray.”

People would prefer to read other human beings’ thoughts on a matter rather than consulting God on a matter – by cracking open a Bible. Opening a Bible is a scary proposition to most. So, I have written the content concerning such things in this article for you to read.

Ask God for guidance and read the words carefully.

A warning to priests Malachi 2:1-2: “’And now, you priests, this warning is for you. If you do not listen, and if you do not resolve under my name’ says the Lord Almighty, ‘I will send a curse on you, and I will curse your blessings. Yes, I have already cursed them, because you have not resolved to honor me.”

Malachi 2:7-9: “For the lips of a priest ought to preserve knowledge, because he is the messenger of the Lord Almighty and people seek instruction from his mouth. But you have turned from the way and by your teaching have caused many to stumble; you have violated the covenant with Levi,’ says the Lord Almighty. ‘So I have caused you to be despised and humiliated before all the people, because you have not followed my ways but have shown partiality in matters of the law.”

Malachi 3:17-18: “On the day when I act,’ says the Lord Almighty, ‘they will be my treasured possession. I will spare them, just as a father has compassion and spares his son who serves him. And you will again see the distinction between the righteous and the wicked, between those who serve God and those who do not.’”

Malachi 4:1-5: “Surely the day is coming, it will burn like a furnace. All the arrogant and every evildoer will be stubble, and the day that is coming will set them on fire,’ says the Lord Almighty. ‘Not a root or a branch will be left to them. But for you who revere my name, the sun of righteousness will rise with healing in its rays. And you will go out and frolic like well-fed calves. Then you will trample on the wicked; they will be ashes on the soles of your feet on the day when I act,’ says the Lord Almighty.

“Remember the law of my servant Moses, the decrees and the laws I gave him at Horeb for all Israel. See, I will send the prophet Elijah to you before the great and dreadful day of the Lord comes. He will turn the hearts of the parents to their children, and the hearts of the children to their parents; or else I will come and strike the land with total destruction.’”

 Notice that in these passages, there is a marked resemblance to the state of the nations at this very moment, with criminal politicians being exposed and the enemies of God and Christ Jesus being stomped out by severe bombings in the Middle and Far East. To students of the Bible, this can only mean one thing – that our redemption is drawing near.

Although the word of God is aimed at the Jewish people, the Word of the Lord applies to ALL mankind. Notice how things end for those who deny God and carry on as though he didn’t exist, or at best, as if he is a mythological character. It’s incredible to believe such garbage.

All the learned in the world can’t explain God, with their limited capacity of knowledge. With the limited amount of gray matter between their ears, they propose to know about things already revealed in the Holy Bible. Things like, “Let us make man in our image and likeness.”

But being lazy and puffed up with human pride, they neglect the Bible altogether!

Human thought is frail and – at best – corrupt. The Bible tells us that all are sinners and are only saved by the grace and lovingkindness of God.

Today, with the continued bombing of Israel, there exists the possibility that the Dome of the Rock will be struck by accident (God). Can you imagine what the enemy would do if that happened? Many Muslims worldwide would come alive with fierce anger toward Christians everywhere. This will usher in the time of Jacob’s trouble as in the Great Tribulation. Already, we are experiencing the precursor of those eventful and fearful times.

This could be the very reason that I’m finally getting my movie made. It seems that my inspirational first book will finally be made into a movie, as God is eager to save as many as possible now, by any means. Pastors and church leaders have failed Him by preaching manmade thought, theory, and saying nothing about repentance.

Don’t be discouraged by my writing this way. God loves you, and so do I. So, hang in there – read the New Testament. (It’s too late to read the Old). Jesus is the Way, the Truth, and the Life, and NO man comes to the Father but by Him. Pray always, thanking God for EVERYTHING.
