“…He hath made us accepted in the Beloved” (Ephe 1:6)…

“…He hath made us accepted in the Beloved” (Ephe 1:6)…

“…He hath made us accepted in the Beloved” (Ephe 1:6)

“And ye are complete in Him, which is the head of all principality and power” (Col 2:10).

This is our joy children of God, that God has accepted us in His beloved Son, and that in Christ He has made us complete. We are not accepted as children because of our deeds, neither are we complete because of our works. We are accepted and made complete only in Christ. Outside Christ we are rejected and sinful, but in Him we are accepted as children of God and made complete.

This is the righteousness of Christ imputed unto us. We attained it not by our works, but by the salvation work of Christ done on the cross. We were once rejected, but now in Christ we are accepted as children of God. We were once filthy, but now in Christ we are made complete. Not by our works, but by the salvation work of Christ on the cross.

Let us therefore rejoice, and allow not the devil, our minds or anyone to condemn us. For we are accepted and made complete in Jesus Christ our Lord.

Now, the evidence of this imputed righteousness is a changed life. No one receives the righteousness of Christ and remains the same. For it’s written; “I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit within you; I will take the heart of stone out of your flesh and give you a heart of flesh. I will put My Spirit within you and cause you to walk in My statutes, and you will keep My judgments and do them” (Eze 36:26-27).

So, anyone who encounters Christ is transformed by the power of His righteousness. At first we comfortably lived in sin, but now we are crushed when we mistakenly sin. It’s now easy for us to do good, but hard to sin. Because sin is not part of the new life we’ve received in Christ.

Christ is the source of our righteousness, let us stay connected to Him, and feed our spirits with His word and prayers, that we shall receive greater grace to live out this righteousness imputed into us. God bless you!
