Hurrah for Free Speech and all that…

But just because the Constitution provides our right for free speech doesn’t mean it guarantee listeners.

The word “free” should give us pause.

Free anything should be suspect.

Remember, just because someone’s blathering on and on doesn’t mean you have to listen.

Loudness doesn’t mean important.

Muchness doesn’t equal wisdom.

And virtually all opinions (even good ones) are worthless unless you asked for them in order to achieve your mission and goal.

Learn the difference between news and noise. (Hint: It’s almost all noise.)

The ONE THING for today: It is a good rule of thumb that you can pretty much ignore everything and come out ahead.
