JAN 3-4 BREAD OF LIFE –BRINGING JUSTICE TO THE THORNS– SCRIPTURE{KJV}: 2 Samuel 23:1-7 Now these be the last words of David. David the son of Jesse said, and the man who was raised up on high, the anointed of the God of Jacob, and the sweet psalmist of Israel, said, The Spirit of the Lord spake by me, and His word was in my tongue. The God of Israel said, the Rock of Israel spake to me, HE THAT RULES OVER MEN MUST BE JUST, RULING IN THE FEAR OF GOD. And he shall be as the light of the morning, when the sun rises, even a morning without clouds; as the tender grass springing out of the earth by clear shining after rain. Although my house be not so with God; yet He has made with me an everlasting covenant, ordered in all things, and sure: for this is all my salvation, and all my desire, although He make it not to grow. BUT THE SONS OF BELIAL SHALL BE ALL OF THEM AS THORNS thrust away, because they cannot be taken with hands: BUT THE MAN THAT SHALL TOUCH THEM MUST BE FENCED WITH IRON AND THE STAFF OF A SPEAR; AND THEY SHALL BE UTTERLY BURNED WITH FIRE in the same place. Psalm 7:6 Arise, LORD, in your anger; rise up against the rage of my enemies. Awake, my God; decree justice. Psalm 9:16 The LORD is known by the judgment which He executes: the wicked is snared in the work of his own hands. Romans 1:28-32 And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient; Being filled with all unrighteousness, fornication, wickedness, covetousness, maliciousness; full of envy, murder, debate, deceit, malignity; whisperers, Backbiters, haters of God, despiteful, proud, boasters, inventors of evil things, disobedient to parents, Without understanding, covenant breakers, without natural affection, implacable, unmerciful: Who knowing the judgment of God, that they which commit such things are worthy of death, not only do the same, but have pleasure in them that do them.

Amos 5:15 Hate the evil, and love the good, and establish judgment in the gate: Psalm 11:7 For the LORD is righteous, He loves justice; the upright will see His face. Psalm 97:10 Ye that love the Lord, HATE EVIL: He preserves the souls of His saints; He delivers them out of the hand of the wicked. John 3:20 For every one that does evil hates the light, neither comes to the light, lest his deeds should be reproved.

Ephesians 5:14-17 Wherefore he saith, Awake thou that sleeps, and arise from the dead, and Christ shall give thee light. See then that ye walk circumspectly, not as fools, but as wise, Redeeming the time, because the days are evil. Wherefore be ye not unwise, but understanding what the will of the Lord is. Genesis 18:19 [The Lord speaking of Abraham] For I know him, that he will command his children and his household after him, and they shall keep the way of the Lord, TO DO JUSTICE AND JUDGMENT; Proverbs 21:3,15 To do justice and judgment is more acceptable to the Lord than sacrifice. It is joy to the just to do judgment: but destruction shall be to the workers of iniquity. 1 John 2:17 And the world passes away, and the lust thereof: but he that does the will of God abides forever. Ephesians 6:6 Not with eyeservice, as men pleasers; but as the servants of Christ, doing the will of God from the heart; Isaiah 56:1 Thus saith the Lord, Keep ye judgment, and do justice: for my salvation is near to come, and my righteousness to be revealed. Proverbs 29:4 By justice a king gives a country stability, but those who are greedy for bribes tear it down.

PONDERING: Those who follow the way of satan are THORNS. They plan their evil deeds towards God’s people, in the dark. They capture and behead those who follow GOD in the lands they control. If we trust in the LORD we will follow Him and do what He says. There will be no peace if man allows evil to flourish by doing nothing in the way of bringing judgement and justice to that evil. GOD created His people to be salt upon this earth, establishing His Will and Way in all things so that people could live in peace with one another. Mankind allowed the tares to grow and they now strive to eliminate that which God planted. Throughout the history in the Bible GOD has used man to rid His people of evil that surrounds them, and when man obeyed Him, GOD backed their efforts with His power. Those nations that establish GOD’s justice at their gates will be blessed when He returns. I am reminded of what GOD revealed in REV.13:10. “He that leads into captivity shall go into captivity: he that kills with the sword must be killed with the sword. Here is the patience and the faith of the saints.”

PRAYER: FATHER, equip your people with understanding, patience and faith, and open our hearts to be your servants in all things that you desire. Help us in all things establish your justice and judgments, not ours. We long for your return when all things will be in the LIGHT. In the Name of your Son, Amen
