Mission Ready 2012

If a church is to follow the call of Missio Dei, it must ultimately be in a relationship with God – the visionary, initiator and empowerer of missions. And as such this church must carry a message, not merely of a political involvement or social concern, but of a spiritual one, both in origin and in practice. For if you preach what you don’t live, you probably live no life at all. And if you have no message to share with this dead and dying world, your mission endeavor seems no better than a religious excursion to a foreign land.
